Payed for a product I NEVER RECEIVED

I have purchased online a Lenovo Smart Performance 1YR subscription 0n the 3rd of June.
after payment i was informed the app I paid for will be available to download after 24 hours.
I asked for a refund because my pc was in urgent need or fixing and have no time to wait.
I was reassured that the cancellation has been started,
but has not been confirmed.
days later when checking my order status it stated "product was delivered " on the 2nd of June
2 days before my purchase.
I never received any notification how and when to obtain the product.
started a number of chats with different customer support staff - all very polite and full of promises -
BUT NO ACTION
So I paid for something what I never received
STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOB
I found a freely available app from MS to fix my pc
called PC Manager

Can't talk to a human

I only just placed an order and already wish I hadn't. You can not get a hold of a human via phone, they use WhatsApp and if you ask a question and you don't respond to their reply within a minute of them replying they close your case and you have to start all over again. My order was placed yesterday and has only shipped this morning and I already wish I hadn't purchased from Lenovo.

Trash Customer Service

Bought a Legion 7i. Product aside, Lenovo AU’s after-sales service is awful. I emailed multiple times asking for a simple shipping update and whether I could switch from standard to express due to an urgent situation. I have not received my product or any response to date. They remained completely unresponsive when I emailed the customer care team and chat option. What a let down! Customer service seems to care only about sales and commission. Once you’ve paid, you’re on your own. No accountability, no follow-up, no care. This is a huge detractor for anyone considering spending money on this brand. A tech company that can’t communicate after purchase/provide any support is not worth the risk.

Appalling after sales service

After sales service from Lenovo is absolutely appalling. My six month old laptop first started not recognizing Bluetooth. After a couple of days it would recognize it again. Then two weeks ago it stopped charging. I am still waiting for the laptop to be collected for repair. Despite my issue being “prioritized” and “escalated”, I hear nothing from them unless I call (which I am now doing daily).

I have just purchased a laptop from HP because I need one for work.

I bought a very overpriced thinkpad in hopes of using it for a long time. The alleged sturdiness is nonexistent and for the first time in my life I saw a laptop not working at all. The customer service asks for 200 AUD for on site repair, otherwise I have to wait 12 days for the start of service. If you have money to throw away, pick Lenovo thinkpads. SCANDAL

I went to 4 stores today looking for a Lenovo charger and thought it hopeless, but as soon as I rang the Lenovo number the customer service from the staff was above and beyond; friendly, helpful and exactly what is expected from such a great company. Thank you, Mon for such great service today.

We purchased an yoga

We purchased an yoga, the screen stopped work and then once fixed it lost all system functions. Couldn't reinstall window so we had to completely wipe the laptop and reinstall windows and driver. The cursor was never the same. Now sitting with the manufacturer.

Bought another Lenovo, not even a month old and it literally just shut down. The laptop just stopped working and have now had to wipe this one.
Un Friggen believable. Never again will I buy a lenovo. The good thing is I bought it through Harvey Norman's so I will be handing both back and getting a diferente brand.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT

TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT
After owning my Lenovo Yoga 7i for 8 months the battery began swelling. When I took it back to the store I bought it from I was told that it was a dangerous manufacturer fault (fire hazard). It took over a month for Lenovo to pick up the computer from the store (I live in metro Melbourne) and complete a "repair". When I got the computer back it lasted one week before it broke again (again a manufacturer defect) and as it was under warranty I decided to go directly through Lenovo this time. I thought it would be quicker! However, I called 3 hotlines before I found someone who could help and more than a week later I am still waiting to hear back. The soonest they will be able to even pick it up is weeks away. I have owned this computer less than a year and it has been a massive hassle. STAY FAR AWAY FROM LENOVO.

Flawed design and assembly causes premature failure

My daughter's Lenovo Ideapad developed a keyboard fault about two months outside the warranty period. The bottom two rows of keys stopped working. The product was not accepted as a warranty repair. I had it seen to by a local computer person who found the ribbon cable connecting the keyboard to the mainboard had been partially pulled out of its socket as a result of the way it was installed causing the battery to apply constant pressure against the cable, leading to it partially pulling out over time. This is either a design flaw and or sloppy assembly and caused a great deal of inconvenience and considerable expense to have rectified. Google and YouTube searches have revealed this to be more than an isolated incident peculiar to my machine.

Pathetic service

After much arguing over the last few weeks Lenovo finally admitted there was a fault with my laptop and replaced the SSD and the motherboard. Their technician said that the data I had stored on my separate, second drive was safe as he re-installed windows on the replacement SSD. So, WHY DID THE RE-INSTALLATION ON MY "C" DRIVE WIPE THE DATA FROM MY SECONDARY STORAGE DRIVE???????????????????????????? I have now lost EVERYTHING. I specifically used a separate, second drive for storage of docs and over 20 thousand photos to prevent this from happening - but Lenovo have managed to lose my data regardless. So that's 2 failed laptops and one complete loss of data in the last 6 months with Lenovo.

Lenovo after sale support

Purchased Lenovo P1 Gen 4 in July with discount coupon.

Computer has arrived in September with thermal issues. Lodged a support case with Lenovo, I was told that is normal.

Few months later, a technician came to replace speaker on the computer, I asked him to check temperature problem and we both agreed there is a problem with laptop. Lenovo has replaced the fan but it did not help.

Technician is also found a missing thermal pad on the original system fan, which tells me the computer has not been built properly. "God knows what else missing in it."

Sent laptop away for 20 days for them to check/fix the problem. I was told that they cannot isolate the problem, then I requested a replacement laptop. First they said refund option is best for both parties as I need to wait 2 months for replacement computer. When I insist of getting a replacement computer, I was told that there is no problem with the computer and forcing me to:

- Accept computer as is, as there is no fault.
- Accept refund on purchase price.

Asked them to provide me a report what they found and what tool that used (Temperature on components) I was told that they are under no obligation to share this information and they believe "they have met ACL obligations to my purchase".

Opened a new case with consumer protection agency, and I believe this will ending up going the court.

If you thinking to buy Lenovo products, DONT. As after sale support is extremely annoying.

Bought a Lenovo ideacentre about 4…

Bought a Lenovo ideacentre about 4 years ago. After three years the cooling fan started making a lot of noise. Lenovo quoted $300 to replace it. I replaced it myself for under $100. After another year it started freezing intermittently and disk usage would go up to 100% and stay there. After a lot of my time running tests, installing updates as provided by Lenovo technical support and totally reinstalling the Windows operating system, it is no better and they want to charge me $400 to replace the $100 hard drive but won't guarantee that will fix the problem. I won't be buying another Lenovo product.

I have now taken Lenovo to the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal and have been awarded a full refund of the original purchase price.

The referee at the tribunal stated that "the computer failed to meet the acceptable quality standard set down in the Consumer Guarantees Act."

Shocking customer service and adherence to warranty

Purchased an extended warranty with Thinkpad and I have had so many charging issues making the machine unfit for purpose. Shocking customer service, closes tickets automatically when trying to access support. Keep getting told my machine has different issues, but no elaboration... and now I am told I have to pay to get it fixed even though I have over a years warranty left! Not acceptable service.

My Lenovo Yoga is a lemon.

My Lenovo Yoga is a lemon.
Poor quality Lenovo yoga is valued at $2500 bought in June 2020.
Problems occurred by August 2020
Useless by September 2020
Support is crap, only focus is on closing the ticket.
Stuck in crap Lenovo cycle of having to wipe the whole laptop for a restart or send it in for service
- who on earth has time for that?!
I didn't buy a sub $1000 laptop because I wanted to avoid issues, I bought a high-spec Lenovo Yoga ($2500 at JB HiFI) and my Lenovo Yoga has been very dissapointing.
I really wish I hadn't bought a Lenovo
