Stairlift for mum
Claire turned up on time and was very friendly and chatty.
She explained everything about the stairlifts in depth and was not pushy trying to get a sale.
Cameron came to fit it and he did a cracking job leaving no mess when finished and took time explaining how to operate the stairlift once fitted.
Very professional job from start to finish.

Excellent service
From the first call to the installation first class service, very quick response and fitted in less than 3 hours. engineer explained full workings and error codes to me and my father in law and left everything clean and tidy. Would fully reccommend Leodis to anybody looking for a stairlift.

Right from the start Leodis gave an excellent service. Sales lady explained the options to us regarding the stairlift as well as payment options. No hard sell, very professional. Fitter arrived on time, very polite, finished fitting the stairlift in the time quoted, explained the workings to my Mum. He was patient and professional. I cannot recommend Leodis highly enough.

From our initial contact with leodis everything went so smoothly Alan who completed the survey was so helpful he answered any questions we had and gve us the best possible solution. Dan who came to fit the stairlift was totally professional and very tidy. The whole experience was very good. We purchased a refurbished stairlift but it is as new and was a set price but looks like new. Overall a great deal and it looks good too.

Did quite a bit of research on…
Did quite a bit of research on stairlift companies and rang half a dozen companies. Decided to go with Leodis for my in-laws stairlift. So glad we did and they did not disappoint!! Claire was lovely and it really is a no pressure visit/sales call, unlike some of the other companies that are still ringing me. They turned up at bang on 10am, the fitter was polite and friendly and left no mess at all. Very reasonable and professional company who we would not hesitate to recommend. It's a big decision getting a stairlift but it was very simple and effortless for us once we called Leodis. They get good reviews because they are a good company. No hard sales pitch, very transparent with pricing, no hidden extras, from phoning them to having it installed it was all done and dusted in 4 days, would have been quicker but the first date didn't work for us. All in all I would give 5 stars from start to finish.

Great service all the way, from the initial call with Martin (no sales pressure at all) through to follow up with Nick, and home visit with Claire.
Overall turnaround time was amazing, installation by Connor very polite and he was considerate of my aged Mum. Plain sailing from start to finish.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Professional and knowledgeable
Leodis were profess from the outset. Within 1 day of contacting Leodis we were visited by Allen who was very informative and guided us through the process of finding the most suitable stairlift for mums needs. The choice made it was fitted almost immediately. Mum was so pleased with the lift and the installation. It has made her feel safe going upstairs and given the family peace of mind knowing she is safe. Thank you.

Excellent Service
Allan from Leodis stairlifts called to give a quote for a stairlift, he explained everything we needed to know and there was absolutely no pressure to buy, The lift was fitted by the friendly Leodis engineer at a time convenient to me, there was no mess left after the fitting and we were made aware of how everything worked.

It was a refreshing change
It was a refreshing change, to have an informative, no pressure visit from Allan. He turned up at the agreed time, answered all our questions and provided lots of options. Along with recommendations as to what would best suit. The installation was completed on time and really didn’t take long at all.

Would Definitely Recommend.
The salesman Russ, was brilliant. when enquiring, he sat with the family and explained everything. He was very understanding of our needs and guided us through the process in a was that was easy for us all to follow.
Within a few days, the engineer ?? arrived to fit the stairlift, he was a lovely young man, who couldnt do more for us.
The lady in the office (I think her name was Katie) was amazing. She couldn't do enough for us, she ended up speaking to everyone in the family at one point, which must have been confusing, but she never let it be known.
We cant thank this company more and would definitely recommend them.

£120 call out charge
£120 call out charge! Company lives less than a mile from my dad’s home!, and the engineer came to the house to switch the machine on and off and hey presto the stairlift was back in operation!
Personally think that is extortionate and unjustifiable and after the recent death of my mum and my dad learning to be independent it feels exploitive! Customer care on the phone could have gave my dad some quick troubleshooting tips before charging him this! Also to note,,,,because he trapped his walking stick in his stairlift they said it was his own doing and classed this as an accident so said he had to pay the call out fee
I asked the company to review this decision and they have chose not to. Even the engineer who called was embarrassed to take the money from him!
So although their care at the sales pitch and the fitting was good!, they certainly know how to rob the elderly of their pension!
Company! - don’t respond - your further explanation will fall on deaf ears whilst you try to justify your policies! Your comments to another review where you tell the customer they have used this platform to “use this as some kind of weapon” truly shows your morals and values as a company!!!!!

Dear Mrs Powers, it is regrettable to have received such a review and I do feel that a response is needed despite your request not to reply.
As a business we have the right to reply to such a negative review the same as you have the right to post such a review.
You are correct when you state that there was a charge incurred for an engineer to attend the property to take a look at the problem reported and this was advised at the first point of contact made at 13:30 on the 17/02/2025.
The call was made high priority as your father advised that he was dependent on the stairlift in order to get an engineer to the property that same day. Which we did.
The engineer attended the property at 16:14 (2 hours and 45 minutes from receiving the initial call) to find, as you again quite rightly state, the issue was caused by your fathers walking stick being trapped in the lift, which as advised was indeed user error.
The engineer not only got the stairlift going but ensured that no permanent damage had been caused to the stairlift, also ensuring that it was safe to use.
I firmly believe that the service provided was second to none and that we had given full information on possible costs at the point of the initial call and that, although we would love to be able to not charge for such call outs we are a business and costs are incurred in these situations.
You also mention in the review that you personally think that the charge is unjustifiable and extortionate and that you feel that by charging for the call out is somehow exploitative.
We acknowledge that you are entitled to your personal opinion, but wholeheartedly refute those claims and believe that the service we provided was second to none.
We had a stair lift installed 12months…
We had a stair lift installed 12months ago and have called them out 11 times in that 12 months each time needing parts. The lift is not fit for purpose or reliable. Initially they said they couldn't offer extended Warranty even though we had it writing. As a good will gesture they then said they can do it for £650.......on their website they quote £350 for extended warranty

Dear Sue, we are now in receipt of your review and although its extremely disappointing to receive such a review, it's receipt wasn't unexpected.
The reason it wasn't unexpected was that after a request for a free extended warranty was rejected, a comment was made at the end of that conversation for us to "enjoy our Trustpilot review".
I note from your records that you have had issues with the lift in question which is extremely regrettable but would like to add that when any issue has been reported we have responded in a timely manner and our highly experienced engineers have rectified the problem.
It is regrettable that reviews such as the one left seem to be used as some kind of weapon when a customer isn't able to get their own way, however it is vital that we receive feedback, both good and bad as this allows us to improve our service to other customers, new and old.
With regards to your comment in relation to an increase in price, I would like to advise that within a matter of weeks of your initial purchase, the cost of an extended warranty increased, and due to our suppliers having to significantly increase their prices for parts further increases have been necessary.
We as a business hold off as long as financially possible before passing any increase in price on to our customers, but in-line with all areas of the economy significant increases across the board have, unfortunately, been necessary and regrettably mean that we have to increase our prices also.
I would also like to add that in order to try accommodate you, we have offered a ad-hoc callout option should you encounter any issues, where usual callout charges would apply, but this offer was declined.
I sincerely apologise that your expectations haven't been met despite us attending when a fault/issue has been reported and advise that due to your obvious dissatisfaction, at the end of your current warranty, your details will be removed from our system, thus allowing you to utilise the services of other stairlift companies should you require assistance in the future.
Poor aftercare
The company were good at the point of initial purchase, but attempts to get them to come back to fulfil the contract and service the stairlift has been difficult.
I wouldn't use them again.

Firstly, I would like to say that here at Leodis Stairlifts we take pride in the care and after-sales service that we give our customers and it is disappointing that no formal complaint has been received prior to receiving your review.
Saying that, I do apologise for your dissatisfaction that has made you feel the need on this occasion to leave a 2 star review.
I have looked into your comments and have checked the timeline of events which we meticulously log on our system and note the following.
An initial request was made for a service to be carried out on the 31st October 2024 and your request was logged on our system.
On the 14th November 2024 we contacted you to advise that we could carry out the service that day, and were advised that more notice was required.
The reason for the short notice was due to having an engineer in your area that day and wanting to attend the property to carry out the service that had been requested 2 weeks prior.
I have been advised today that only this morning we have offered an alternative date, that being 4th December 2024, only to be advised yet again that this appointment had been declined as it wasn't convenient and that a further date for us to carry out the service on the 10th December 2024 was acceptable and this has now been scheduled into the engineers works schedule.
As said at the start of this response, we at Leodis Stairlifts do pride ourselves on the service we provide each and everyone of our customers and again apologise if you feel that our service did not align with your expectations.

Newcastle leodis excellent service from start to finish, cannot be beat worth a five star review.
From the initial phone call to Russ the surveyor and Ryan the installer all very professional and very knowledgeable .No pressure and each step of the process very clearly explained .
So impressed with Russ placed the order that day.
Ryan came to install the chairlift and was fantastic taking the time to explain how the chairlift worked and answered all questions we had .. Leaving a cheat sheet of the operation and explanation of the codes.
Highly recommend would not use any other company
