I ordered bed,mattress,a shoe-rack

I ordered bed,mattress,a shoe-rack , bedsheets , carpet and two pillows. The shipping was so slow I received the things around one month but I never received the pillows till date. I ordered it on 31/08/2023. They said my product will arrive by September 08 to 09 .But it didn’t arrive. When I messaged the seller they said the product is out of stock so they cannot ship anymore. So I claimed for a refund . They said the refund has been executed already but I haven’t received it yet. I also called the support but they sell it’s the seller’s responsibility. When I message seller they say it’s the Leroy Merlin company . This process just made me disgusted. They cannot refund my 59.80€ or send me my products.It’s going to be 2months now.

Another Leroy Merlin record falls today.
45 minuteson on hold while a customer service representative checks why they cancelled my order for tiles to complete my bathroom project.

How do they stay in business?

Worse than i could ever expected..

Worse than i could ever expected... bought a termoacumulator, since the invoices wrong and not clear at all, missing the day of installation witout notice and long time to answer emails since its the only way to support. Really dont recommend, having a hard time with them :(

Buying online is a nightmare

I like the physical shop, I really do. The BIG problem is shopping online. Because I live far far away from Leroy Merlin stores, I frequently have to buy online. And I usually find all sorts of problems - out of stock, confusing descriptions, wrong data, problems filling the forms, etc. But the most annoying thing is that they don't ship it to where I live, so I always have to hire a transport company to pick the items at the store and bring it to me. Many times it's all wrong. After I pay for everything, the transport company arrives at the store and the items are not there, or my name is not on the package, or the quantities are wrong... It's a nightmare!!!

play puzzles

If I knew that I had to play puzzles, I would not go to that hardware store. They delivered pieces to assembles without numbers and some without holes. About 15 pieces to put together and I have to try which one would fit with the other. And I have to put holes in some. If I know that this is unprofessional, better to buy from IKEA or Amazon.

The second time I encountered a major problem…

The first time I encountered a problem with Leroy Merlin was with the purchase of internal doors. The size delivered was incorrect. I returned the doors (5 in total). The order was cancelled and I had to place a new order. 4 weeks later the order was ready to collect. This time all 5 doors were broken in the same place. They were poorly wrapped, but heavily wrapped over the broken area. So I took them away and opened them only to see the problem that was covered up. I returned them again and hoped they would be ok the next time. Well, the next time I received one of the broken doors again. What more can I say. Well lots more...
Eventually this was resolved, but from start to finish 16 weeks
Next I ordered a door with glass (silly me). Door arrived after 4 weeks. Unfortunately it had no glass, just a plain wooden door. The staff at Leroy Merlin tried to convince me it was the correct door. We argued for a good hour and eventually they conceded it was not the correct door (hence the missing glass) and blamed it on the manufacture. Fair enough, everyone makes mistakes. So I was told to return the item, which I did, and then they cancelled the order, gave a refund and told to reorder. So another 4 weeks to wait. Well here we are now. 5 weeks later and the door is ready. Well not really, it is damaged, not useable. Leroy Merlin contacted me and told me it's damaged and I can have a refund and place a new order, and wait another 4 weeks for a replacement. I asked to be made a priority because of if their mistakes. They don't seem to understand when they make a mistake they should try to fix it or even make their customers feel like they are trying to help.

Leroy Merlin is One of the WORST Home Improvement Company!!

Let me start off by stating that I have had contact with Leroy Merlin in other countries in Europe but the Leroy Merlin that exists in Portugal is by far the WORST version of Leroy Merlin.

I have issued a one star rating due to the fact that it cannot be left empty otherwise that would be my exact rating for this company.

We are currently renovating our bathroom and have ordered both materials and products from Leroy to full-fill our objectives for the project.

We ordered a washbasin, amongst other products that will be applied to the bathroom. The washbasin that we ordered to be delivered at our apartment arrived completely broken, which isn't a surprise considering HOW Leroy chose to package a product that is subject and prone to breakage.

Leroy proceeded to pack a heavy washbasin made of porcelain with ONE single sheet of bubble wrap. Now I don't know how other people tend to package products that are prone to breakage but common sense should tell you that ONE single sheet of bubblewrap isn't nearly sufficient enough to protect a cup from breakage let alone a heavy washbasin.

We also received a delivery for the tiles which are to be used for the bathroom renovation that arrived with 2 boxes of tile completely broken. The gentlemen that delivered the tiles reported the incident and proceeded to take the boxes of broken tiles back to Leroy.

Now I have been trying to get in touch with Leroy regarding this for days which is quickly closing up on 2 weeks soon. I have emailed them more than several times, I have in-fact sent them OVER 100 emails regarding this and I have received ZERO responses. I have contacted customer service who supposedly took down my complaint and "assured" me that someone would get back to me regarding these issues within 48 hours. That was 7 days ago.

My advice to anyone considering purchasing products from Leroy Merlin is to run in the opposite direction and find yourself a reliable and professional company that actually communicates with their customers when and if a n issue arises, Leroy Merlin does NOT possess any of the characteristics for a modern, innovative and customer centric company.

Old IT infrastructure which costs me a…

Old IT infrastructure which costs me a voucher with expiration date.
I pay in advance for a visit regarding to a project but despite of being said and written the availabilty that won't was taking in account. On this case, the reschedule process is complety no sense as the sugested time for the visit.
Lack of care about customer needs and bad service.

Leroy Merlin not fit to be a retail outlet

Don’t buy from Leroy Merlin either online or instore. Despite the website saying it has stock for delivery, this is not true. Twice in the space of two weeks we have our order cancelled on the delivery day. Quick to take the money despite no means of delivering on their obligation and slow to return monies. Stay clear unless you want to be disappointed

The worst

The worst. Product didn't arrive. Was still charged. Have to file a claim with PayPal, who will thankfully issue the credit. Be warned: IF you buy from this company, especially online, pay with an option that you know will reimburse you if something should go wrong. Because in my experience, something will.

i WANTED TO POST "0" STARS BUT ITS NOT AN OPTION, not for the first time, i ordered online, the chosen date was then cancelled by phone[ by them] and a new date arranged.. no delivery again, no contact, no message or phone call, still waiting.
These people don`t care..about anything, a travesty of a store run by people who should all be unemployed.

Purchased 26 of April quiet big piece…

Purchased 26 of April quiet big piece of plywood from store located in Colombo mall. Paid for delivery scheduled for May 2. Today is 8, no delivery, no information about future delivery, nothing! Customer service is horrible, most definitely my last experience with them! If you respect yourself and your health just use others. I wish I checked their reviews before buying.
Today is May 22 and I still didn’t receive my purchase, any explanations or refund!

Attention all garden enthusiasts

Attention all garden enthusiasts! I wanted to share my terrible experience with Leroy Merlin. I bought a rotivator from them, only used it twice before it broke down. I've been trying to get in touch with them for weeks to arrange a return and refund, but they refuse to collect it or even reply to me by phone or personal visit. I even raised the issue with the complaint book, but still no response. It's frustrating to be left with a defective product and no support from the company. I urge anyone considering buying from Leroy Merlin to think twice. Warning when using Leroy for any rebuilding projects

Leroy created a new company for house rebuilds. The builders pay into it and then share a percentage of what they earn with Leroy. However, Leroy pretends you as a customer, are hiring them. When it goes wrong, Leroy pull their hands back and tells you to complain to the builder.
We didn't know this and figured we were dealing with Leroy directly, which is what the sales people in the shop told us.
So we ended up paying a very large sum for a new roof. All proposals, quotes, and contracts made by Leroy with a builder we had no previous knowledge of, never met, and no contract with.
It was more expensive than the other quotes we got but we figured it would be more trustworthy as it was a big company we had been buying from for years.

The roof that was delivered way after the agreed delivery date has leaks, the plates are damaged, the main beam is bent, the walls are half finished and the rubble we paid for to remove, is left behind.

The builder turned from a laughing, overly friendly guy to a mafia wannabee, who threatened our family.
This is the worst purchase I ever made and the worst company I've ever experienced.
When we go there, they laugh in our faces as they tell us to talk to the builder.

We have engineers and lawyers working on it but

Do not use Leroy for your rebuilding projects unless you are as stupid as me. They completely fail any sense of after-sale care, in fact, they enjoy ripping people off

Don't go with Leroy for Air con

Don't go with Leroy for Air con! They will charge around 29€ for a technician to come and see what is needed, but it's an external instalation who refuse to go with any of th3 products the customer asks for (they use the escuse that the ones they suggest are better and conveniently more expensive. However our own house builder affirms the pre instalation is ready and more adaptive to lower devices that spend less energy. Of course the technicians don't want to accept because its less money and because we don't accept their solution they keep your money! The same thing has happened to our neighbours and leroy does nothing, they just pocket the 29 something euro for the "visit"!! Shameful

Returned a €250 drill to the store in…

Returned a €250 drill to the store in Caldas da Rainha as the hammer action had failed. The return staff confirmed box complete with both batteries, 1 attached to drill.
Item returned to store with one of the batteries missing. Informed the store via email and received reply that the repair company have said they check with their batteries so no need to touch mine???? It was physically attached to the drill so they had too remove to install theirs!
Absolutely shocking 3rd party response and lies as Leroy Caldas confirmed the box was complete.

Horrible.

Horrible.
Ive ordered already 2 times, and each time its horrible and i regret it, never again!
They delayed my order 2 times already, one month after the original date of delivery.
Theyre really shameless and disrespectful of their customers time and money.
The most horrible thing is they dont even care to improve! So many people are conplainning and they dont give a **** at all.
Be carefull to order from this company cause you will regret it! Save yourself frustration and time, find another shop to buy what you need!!

First order against all warnings..

I made my first order against all warning. Next day delivery.. yay!!
Next day.. nothing. Status; in process. Contacted the customer service and it was still at the store? The person from customer care would keep me posted.
Next day, contacted customer service again as I didn't hear anything. Apparently it can take 72hfor the store to reply? Canceling would have the same effect.. I would have to wait for the store to verify the cancelation and order the refund. So 24h delivery? Wouldn't count on it!!
Edit:Order was canceled, I place new order at customer service instructions. Delivery next day! Wrong item came! Costumer service replied I must take it to the store 1,5 hours drive to return it! Then cut off chat when I said that was not an option. Phonenumber of LM was cut off every time I pressed 1 for English. Never ordering again!!!

ORDER CANCELLED AFTER 6 WEEKS AND 4 DAYS BEFORE DELIVERY WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE NOR EXPLANATION NOR EXCUSES

In urgent need of salamandra and sanitas (new house), I contact Leroy merlin over their chat tool and specifically ask for the availaibility of the products BEFORE ordering them.

Order placed on same day (24/11/22) for a total of 1232 euros (salamandra, tubos, sanitas and entrega de 79.). Paid same day as order with multibanco.

Was then surprised to notice that the entrega was not a few days as announced but had to wait over 1 month. Chose 13/01 as delivery date.

Today, 09/01 (1.5 months later and 4 days before delivery date), I get a phone call telling me that my salamandra is not in stock and that delivery date has to be postponed.

I tell them that this is not an option as the canalisadors are working and need the sanitas. I ask for two different deliveries, but this option was refused.

So I ask them to cancel the salamandra to guarantee that I can receive the sanitas as planned on the 13/01. Got the information that this will be done and will be confirmed with the credit for the salamandra.

Tonight I check online account and to see that order has been CANCELLED!!!!! without prior notice, contrary to what was agreed on the phone, and leaving me with no sanitas 1 week before moving in the house.

This is an incredible lack of respect for the consumer, am still in shock.

Contacting them tonight and waiting to know if I am still 'allowed' to received my order, paid over 6 weeks ago.

Money stolen

I made an order end of November 2022 and all seemed to go well as the payment was taken and an email confirmation was received.
By the date 7th December the order should have been received but the accent shows that the order was canceled, contacted customer service and they said there was a payment issue but I have proof that the money was taken so not only have taken the money but trying to say that it was not.
After one week the issue was resolved but this has left me not wanting to order from them ever again as I do not trust that they will not try to steal my money.
An issue with delivery is bad but when it comes to money that is very bad and dangerous.
