Single picture of an item should have been a clue. Picture of a nice sweater, but actual item is a thin shirt, with a print of a sweater.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would… like many others. Terrible product, nothing like the photo. When I tried to return it they made up an excuse that it would cost as much money to mail the return, and offered 10%. Horrible company. Also said they are closing their shop, no wonder! I noticed there are nearly 70 negative reviews in just 3 weeks of January alone! I’ve never seen a company scam so many people in such a short amount of time, nor cause so many terrible shopping experiences. They need to be shut down and banned from doing business.

Deceptive, scam! Stay away. The shirt I ordered was nothing like the photo. Wrong material, wrong design and not what I ordered. It took a month to get here and it took 3 weeks to receive an email from them with a return label. The email said I had 2 options; return the shirt and pay $20-$30 non refundable in shipping or receive a 10% refund. They also said that I can only receive a full refund if it’s returned within 30 days of purchase which they took almost that long to respond to me with a return label so I’m out. Completely corrupt and deceptive. Stay away!

The product is cheaply made. Tje return policy you would have to return to China which is costly.

Horrible quality. Arm pits cut off circulasion. sleeves are short. Very thin. Not warm at all. Just junk. Do not order!!!

Bought a coat, order #L&J-19803, I looks nothing like the coat pictured in your photo. I repeatedly asked for a return label and refund. I have not got any replies. I received my order on January 18, 2025.

I like many others order two coats size 2x. I finally received them and I can barely get my arms in them. I should be wearing and 1x. I contacted them for a return and refund and was told the same. They will refund 10% because shipping back to China is so expensive and they were going to give me a 20% discount on my next order. I told them to shove their 20% discount. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!!!

I had to hit the one star when it really deserves zero stars. It is a big fruadI have pictures. The coat does not look anything like the coat they sent me and they want me to return them back the coat they offered me 10% then they offered me 15% when I went to the post office. It's $48 to return it. They claimed it from New York but they are not you have to ship it back to China. They are a big fraud company do not order anything from them.

When I reached out to follow their online instructions for a return I was told that I could receive a 10% refund (meaningless financially) or ship the product back to China with the following message "please note that the return and shipping cost will be approximately $20-30 and customer is liable" and that the process for a refund takes 20-30 days. Total scam.

Like everyone else, if 0 stars could be given, that is what I would rate this false advertised business. Lester Jones is definitely a scam. They are not from New York or even in the United States. They are from China. The items are misleading and does not look like anything on the beautiful website. The clothes are of poor quality and incorrect sizing. You have to go through a huge hassle to return back to China or receive a 10% credit, which are just pennies of your order. I wish I read the reviews first but I didn't. So I am warning you, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS FAKE CHINA BUSINESS.

If I could give them no stars I would. It’s not a family company choosing to retire, it’s a company in China with no intention of stopping their scam. They are not in NY as they say on the website, they are in China. They do not have quick delivery from NY that takes days as they claim, delivery takes weeks as it is shipped from China. And the product is not as advertised. I received a dress so cheaply made it cannot be worn in public. Run away from them and do NOT order anything from them!

I just received my coat today! Although it took a while to get, it was well worth the wait! It's beautiful and looks like it will be nice and warm. I will definitely keep Lesterandjones in my favorites folder for ordering again!

Buyer Beware! Most of what I was going to say has been written in others’ reviews. Will be donating the handbag I purchased…very poor quality and not as described. Not sure I can even give it away. Total scam!

Cheap crap from a misleading company. I ordered what I thought were leather shoes. What I received were plastic. Avoid this company.

They don't deserve 1 star. Just recieved my shoes. These shoes are not what I ordered. 100% Not as described. Please they lie about the fact that they are based out of New York.
I have filed a complaint with PayPal and also the IC3 Internet Complaint Crime Center.

I ordered a cool looking sweater and paid $40. It was 50% off the normal price due to clearance. It arrived as a very cheap pull-over shirt with a cheap sweater print on the shirt. It looked extremely cheap because it was.

When I attempted to return the "sweater", I was given the option to receive a 10% refund OR send it back to China (even though it was shipped from California). I opted to send it back. It was going to cost $44 to send it back to China. I ended up donating the junk shirt to a thrift store.

The quality of the clothes is awful. They have a no refund policy. Pics are misleading. All made in China. Will report to BBB.

Like others are saying here - BEWARE! If you have to return something, it has to go to CHINA, not New York. They offer you a lame 10% refund and 20% off future purchase to try to talk you out of sending it to China because you might "have to pay 19-20 USD to mail it back and there might be customs costs as well..." I'm sending mine back because IF they issue my refund someday I'll still get more back than the lame 10% - even with the shipping cost.

Lester and Jones (lesterandjones.com) is a fraud. A scam. They are TEMU products manufactured in and shipped from China. The company is NOT closing down. The "owners" are NOT retiring (the image of them on the site is a stock photo.) The "final sale" they advertise on social media is a scam. Their "sale prices" (i.e., $94 for a $6.00 TEMU bag) are BS. Do NOT shop from this vendor.

DO NOT BY FROM THIS MERCHANT!! These are cheap, VERY LOW QUALITY, polyester clothes shipped from China made in China. They are not in NYC. SHIPPING TAKES WEEKS!!! IT’S False advertising .
