Letang Auto Electrical LTD Reviews 

I made contact with Letang AEVP a few weeks ago to discuss fitting a pull out awning for my VW T7 Transporter and received a very competitive quote for supply and fitting. In the end, I chose a different solution by fitting a Vamoose rail myself and sourcing an awning to finish the installation myself.
My search for an awning at a competitive price and quick delivery took me back to Letang AEVP and I spoke with Lataniel about availability of Thule Omnistor 4200 awning.
Lataniel could not havd been more helpful and offered delivery next day far quicker than any other quotations I received. So I placed the order and the awning was delivered the next morning! What fantastic service delivery!
I have no hesitation in unreservedly recommending Letang AEVP and will look to them first for any future requirements.

Ordered a Thule awning accessory 28th June, based on a delivery date of 3rd July. Have received no further updates since ordering and no response to calls, emails, live chat or WhatsApp. I would avoid at all costs.

I read previous reviews before ordering! Dan beat the opposition on price by a good amount and arranged a delivery to suit me and was spot on with the time. Has also since responded to a technical question on the air con installation. I’m now looking at my next purchase.

I ordered a 5m awning to be supplied and fitted last week, within 2 days all arrived and was fitted to my caravan over the next 2 days ( drying time for the fixture rail ) Dan and the team was punctual and professional with their approach installing the awning along with electricals all in all a very tidy job and took away all packaging )) this was also a mobile visit so i didn’t need to tow and wait over several days which was very convenient and rare. .. thanks Dan and the team id highly recommend this company. 👍

I can quite honestly say I have not dealt with a worse company in many many years.

I was looking for an Indel B air conditioner, Letang listed 4 in stock and collect within 4 hours.
I know websites don't always have the most up to date info so I called and spoke to who I now know is the owner "David".

He confirmed it was in stock and that I could collect tomorrow afternoon.
Tomorrow afternoon came, I left it till 2.30pm to make sure, but I was told it had not got to them.
This is where he explained it was held in his other warehouse in Birmingham, the warehouse he owns, but I'll elaborate on that later.

So I got the abrupt message to come back tomorrow as it wasn't there and there was nothing I could do.
I rang the next day a few times, pretty desperate at this point as it was supposed to be in stock Monday and its now Wednesday.
I was told "here within the hour, come over". Turned out it wasn't and David had no idea where it was. What he in fact wanted to do was confront me and call me rude and that I do not listen, imagine hearing this as a customer from the owner of a company... He then said you can sit here and wait for it like we are, no David I have better things to do, thanks.

He called what he made out was his warehouse which actually turns out to just be the supplier LKQ or Nova leisure who don't even particularly know him (apparently then his son owns it, he doesn't). The told him that it was only sent that day and would be 24 hours (Wednesday).
David said you can go and pick it up from the delivery company tomorrow. I had all my eggs in one basket at this point as it was after 1pm ordering from another company would be 2 days.
David emailed me the delivery company name, consignment number and where to collect.
I sent a member of my (yes David I run a very successful company) staff to collect.
Imagine my face when David now calls me accusing me of stealing my own product and that he is calling the police. At this point I had lost patience and said no problem I'll sort it with the police..
To then add insult to injury, what I actually ordered and paid for they don't even make, they sent a slightly different diffuser. No David didn't say due to all of the lies, me travelling 1hr 30 twice due to his terrible communication but I was to pay the difference or he knows where I live and will come to see me. Pathetic.

Don't believe a single word that comes from this company. I wish I had read all of these reviews before ordering.
paying the extra to never have to deal with this company is the best money I will ever spend.

We had a Tow Bar Fitted yesterday on our new Rapido V 68 Van. On the hottest June day ever recorded. Dan and his boys worked extremely hard and did a very neat job. Also fitted the electrical cables on the tow bar. We would have no hesitation in recommending Letang. Dan offers a very friendly and helpful service. Thanks again excellent job.

I brought a Thule Motion 3 XL from this company. All the major retailers are charging a great deal more than this one. Collected as expected and the team even fitted it on my car. Great price, great service, would highly recommend!

It was orderd, slight problem, rectified and delivered, cannot really ask for more.

Disaster right from the beginning - sent bike rack with broken parts and missing compts - then sent a replacement and that too had broken parts and missing bits - then it took ages to get a refund - hardly any communication back from this company - luckily I contacted someone else within the 'group' with copies fo my emails - I wouldnt touch them with a bargepole - if I acted like this company in my job then I would be out of work!!!!

Ordered an expensive item that promised same day shipping if ordered before a set time and showing 6 in stock at that time. I placed the order well before the deadline and 6 days later I still do not have shipping details or confirmation of the reason for delay. Despite calling, emailing and sitting on live chat for 3 hours still no further forward. Truly appalling service so much so I have request a full refund and reported them to my card issuer.

The charger arrived much sooner than expected very well packed in facked so well packed we have not unpacked it .We thought it would be better to leave it wrapped to take it to our caravan

not the best if you email you dont get a reply. even ringing them up its very confusing reply. was told despachted by today may 26. bear in mind ordered 18 may. still no tracking number. sent 2 emails by the contact us page as well as replied to the email they sent the next day of ordering. tbh I wont use them again the future. wish i paid a bit more by another company as would of got item by now. if on the phone they said sorry out of stock we will refund i wouldof accepted that. but the online stock on the thule 5200 motor kit still shows in stock.

When I made the purchase for a Horrex Sliding door fly screen on the 15th April, it showed you had stock only to be notified a few days later that you do not and the earliest delivery will be the 14th May. I then received an email saying the delivery is delayed until June. I called and spoke to you yesterday (14th May) and we agreed that you shall call me back by close of business with a confirmed date. I AM STILL WAITING AND HAVE LEFT YOU 2 MESSAGES TODAY (15 MAY) PLEASE CANCEL AND MAKE A FULL REFUND.
Please do not try and make excuses and blame the supplier as you never had the audacity to call be back with an update
