From start to finish, Lifestyle Properties have been fantastic. After spending around five months on the market with our previous agent, we decided to seek fresh valuations. While many estate agents turned up with a typical sales pitch, James was completely different. He arrived well prepared, having clearly done his research, and he didn’t waste any time. Given the position we were in, he was upfront, honest and realistic about our next steps, and he offered a very competitive price to get our home sold. We chose LifeStyle to manage the sale of our leasehold property in Bristol. At every stage, LifeStyle have been attentive, proactive in their action, responsive to requests and supportive through the challenges we faced. It made a huge difference to us to know that we could rely on Cilla, James and the sales team to have our best interests in mind and to do whatever they could to help whenever it was needed.

In our case, the sale, which took a total of 6 months, was fraught with issues caused by the management company (FirstPort) compounded by mediocre support from both sets of solicitors.

After having found a buyer very quickly, LifeStyle made sure that the buyer was given the best advice and they made sure that they didn’t lose their interest in the property throughout the delays that we faced. As sellers during a quiet sales period, not losing the sale was extremely important and LifeStyle supported us (and the buyer) superbly.

When we were facing issues with the buyer’s solicitors, LifeStyle were proactive in making sure that we got the best and most responsive support that we could, using their familiarity with the solicitors to ensure that they understood the impact that delay would cause. They could easily have stepped back and not interfered with communication over procedural matters, but their intervention always helped to push things along more quickly.

We highly recommend LifeStyle, for them a property sale is not just a transaction, it is an important life event and they ensure that buyers and sellers get the support they deserve.
