What is ‘fibre’ vs ‘full fibre’?

Andy and Ricky the technicians from Lightning were brilliant. They arrived on time and explained what would need to be done. They were very considerate of my concerns, that I didn't want a lot of extra wires running through my house. Together we worked out the best solution and they quickly carried out the work. They were very conscious to install the broadband with the least disruption and damage to the wall. All in all they did a fantastic job and I was very pleased with the service.

Phoned up enquiring if they would drop my price to the current advertised price on their website as I was on an older more expensive rate. The lady I spoke to was friendly and helpful, changed it without a problem. Lightning Fibre is the best provider I’ve ever used, only improvements I would like to see is an updated router to WiFi 6e/7 standard and with more than 1 2.5gbps port and offering 5gbps home package.

I telephoned to ask for advice about poor wifi in other parts of my house. The advisor was very helpful, listened carefully and suggested other options. It was quickly resolved, my tariff was changed and a booster arrived promptly. I am now very happy with the wifi coverage
