Endless Delivery Schedule

UPDATE TO INITIAL REVIEW: The 7 lamps I ordered arrived on 3/14, and they are simply beautiful. If your schedule allows weeks for a delivery, the product selection is lovely.

Endless Delivery Schedule. I placed an order for some greal looking light fixtures at an attractive price on Jan 31, 2026 and they promptly processed my credit card payment the same day. 39 DAYS LATER, lights.com cannot provide a shipping confirmation. Customer Support department is always prompt to reply to my emails but Very Sorry and they give me ever-extending future "expected" shipping date on the 5 times I wrote to them.

Don’t believe them! If you need lights get the elsewhere..

I ordered 2 light fixtures for my bath remodel on Dec 10, 2025. I kept checking and no update so I called and talked to a person named Yaz. She said a few more weeks and I said I want to cancel. She said if you don’t cancel I will give you 10% off but I refused. I said when can I expect refund and she said this Monday but no refund of course. I called 1/6 to ask about refund and she gave me a big story. On 1/7 I got a text from FedEx they were delivering a package from Comfort Lights which were the lights I ordered. Don’t believe anything these people say! I was lucky to get my lights even tho it took a month.The lights look very nice and I am so glad I didn’t buy new ones!

It took me 4 months to receive my order…

It took me 4 months to receive my order of two pendant lights. I ordered them in July and expected them within a month. When they did not arrive, I contacted the company and was told that they were on a cargo ship and the order was going to be delayed even longer. They said that they would contact me but never did. The only way I ever got a status update was when I reached out to them. In the end I got them in December but it was a disappointing experience.

Stalling tactics masters

I placed an order on 14 October 2025. Received half of my order. After a 3 week delay, I gave up and asked for cancellation and refund. Then, they told me the lights had shipped out and they can't refund me. After receiving the lights, I asked for a return label, in addition to sending them the pictures of the items, as they asked me to (literally, front, side and bottom of the box!). Then, they told me that they were having problems with their return label maker (?). After asking repeatedly for a return label, and threatening to report them to the BBB, they sent me a return label within the hour. I promptly returned the items. Update as of 11/21: they are stalling me again and telling me that they need 30 days to REVIEW my RETURN. I now fear that I will never be able to get a refund (with each phase of stalling). Be careful of this company! I will never be ordering from them again.

I placed an order and after I did not…

I placed an order and after I did not receive the $40 worth of light bulbs I ordered with the light, I sent them an email. They replied and said that they expected them to ship in 3 weeks. I waited & waited and never received them. I sent another email requested the light bulbs to be cancelled and a refund issued. They replied saying they cancelled them and I would receive the refund once the finance manager approves it. Well, after 3 more emails to them and 8 months later, I still have not received the refund. Will not be ordering ever again.

Ordered fixtures 1.5 months ago and 2/3…

Ordered fixtures 1.5 months ago and 2/3 still not delivered causing a delayed project completion and extra electrician visit. Denied my very reasonable request to overnight. Horrible experience with very slow or no response to questions. They were apparently investigating but no one told me until I finally got someone on the phone and insisted on some explanation for delayed delivery.

Hope you don’t actually need the products you order

I made an order 2/12/24 for over $650.
Half the order shipped on 2/24, and I was notified the other items were back ordered and would arrive 4/24.

Then it was a shipping delay: 5/22.
Then, another delay: 6/7.
At that point I tried calling them but the 800# didn’t work. So I emailed. By now it was the end of May and my renovation, for which I needed lights, …needed to install the lights. So I could wait no longer and had to buy something else (obviously, from another vendor) to install. I initiated a return for the unopened box from Lights.
At the same time, another delay pushed the estimated date to the unshipped item to 6/19… remember I ordered in February!

I shipped back the received and unopened box on 6/7.
After a couple of weeks, we noticed we still weren’t refunded, and started corresponding with CS. We quickly realized we were talking not to a person but to ChatGPT (a service called Richpanel), who was making a preprogrammed excuse about “system upgrades” and “accounting approval” to avoid giving us back our money.

So yeah, it’s the end of July and Lights has all of their product AND my money.

It’s a scam. Maybe this was a real company once, but it’s not now.

Mixed feelings

Mixed feelings - I received most of my lights and LOVE them. However, I have now been waiting over 7 months for just 4 lights. The main problem is a lack of communication. Lights.com's marketing is amazing but their followthrough and communication is terrible. They never initiate communication about shipping. They never email with a tracking number or anything so you have to log into your account to check status and the information there is lacking clarity. I've been waiting and checking my order for 7 months and, unless I initiate an email (don't bother calling - you won't get anyone and the messaging refers to the pandemic and the year 2021 - it's now 2024!!!) I can't get any useful information. I just want the truth. Are my lights stuck in the Panama Canal? Just tell me so I have some understanding. That would go a long way. Instead, I'm just left in the dark, hoping they will arrive.

Cloaking Return Policy

Ordered on 31 Oct 19 from GMA Deals & Steals promotion, lights.com processed my order on 04 Nov & received items on the 10th. Some items didn't perform as expected & some were falling apart. Wanted to return some items but was informed that there was a 7 day return policy from time of ORDER. I cannot find this policy anywhere. When I ordered these items, it was not posted that these items were a final sale purchase. I was under the impression that these items were promotional items not clearance items. No where on their website does lights.com cover or state a promotional return policy & nowhere on my packing slip does it state this order is final. Cloaking is unacceptable business practice.
