Avoid Limbtec

Avoid Limbtec – Unprofessional, Vindictive, and Incompetent

Used Limbtec for over a year for IP phones and two Business 365 licences. Initially, they were friendly and helpful, but that quickly wore off. The phones, running over a 500GB Virgin connection, frequently dropped calls and failed to connect properly. I worked with Limbtec to improve this, but the problems never fully went away. Cheap service, and it shows.

The 365 licences were worse—despite repeated requests, the accounts were never synced properly, so users couldn’t share or access each other’s folders.

Then came the real test. While abroad on a business trip, my laptop failed. I needed urgent help to access my email. It took over a week to get anything from Martin at Limbtec. He refused to screen share, delayed responses for days, and ultimately left me locked out of my business email for a full week. His excuse? He didn’t know my laptop configuration. I eventually fixed it myself using ChatGPT—in five minutes.

Yes, I called his service pathetic, because it was.

Now the licences have ended, and I’ve moved to another provider. Martin has deliberately withheld admin login details and left my email inaccessible—yet again—for over a week. I've had to redirect everything to Fasthost just to function.

This wasn’t a mistake. It was petty, vindictive, and completely unprofessional. A childish move by someone clearly out of their depth. Avoid at all costs.
