Really great idea. Really great app.
I have won several prizes in recent days and weeks.
I could easily get philosophical about how great it has been to lift litter in my local area and see it going from messy to clean. I'll keep it simple and say it's well worthwhile downloading and giving it a go.
I will say I was picking up litter anyway, but just a couple of pieces every few days. Now that there is the opportunity to make money I do it most days. I know it's sad that I'm motivated by money, but it is important and can pay for things.
The app doesn't appear to be 100% bug free but the advantages and benefits easily compensate for this. If you have difficulty send the team a message and they normally get back to you within a day, if not sooner.
Pro tips: If you're extra keen on winning prizes I suggest submitting, on average, ten pieces of litter a day. It might feel a bit embarrassing but that feeling soon passed for me. One older chap stopped me and thanked me for doing good work. Told him I was in it for the money! :)

Love this- reducing fast food litter has so many advantages- litterlotto makes it easy to want to me in your rubbish and to maybe earn some money- excellent !

I adore the concept of this amazing app. I live in a rural seaside village and when the tourists arrive so does the litter. I have always picked up the litter usually tutting away to myself - now I pick it up, photo myself dropping onto a litter bin, and get entries into a draw with the chance of an instant win as well huge money prize draws. I’ve only been collecting litter in the app for a few weeks and already I have had 6 instant wins. When I hear that little fanfare it always makes me smile. I really hope more and more people get involved in this great initiative! Absolutely genius way to keep our communities litter free ❤️💜💙🧡

Saw the app and was drawn in initially after the possibility of winning a jackpot .
Such a simple and easy thing to get involved in . All those discarded bottles and wrappers you walk past on a daily basis …don’t walk past now - pick it up safely and thrown in the next bin you pass - take a quick pic on the app - you may win one of the spot prizes too . I must say I’m pretty addicted to it !

Simple and easy to use app. I use it daily on my morning walk. Encourages good behaviour in your local community, plus you have the excitement of a possible win each time you submit an entry.

I love this app. I’ve won over £200 in spot prizes since I downloaded it in December. It has motivated me to lift a lot more litter, and I now clear a 6 mile loop around my country home. The spot prizes are the most fun, and it is great to hear about a monthly big prize winner.

As an avid litter picker, I downloaded LitterLotto in February 2022 after seeing a news article covering it on a North West (UK) news channel. The process was easy enough and the app was user friendly and appeared modern.
I have used it daily since while on my very early morning walks around the local area in Wigan, and pleased to see the monetary rewards stack up at random points (each being £5 a time). The app shows you how much a user has earned and how many items of litter collected accumulative.
The concept is amazing and inspiring, and like anything, is subject to continuous improvement which the team do understand and take on board for future development. Personally cannot wait to hear of their future plans and growth (and of course winning the monthly jackpot which currently is in the £1000s however could easily please more users by breaking that figure down 😁)

Love using the litter lotto app. It’s great getting little prompts from the team and although I haven’t won yet I’m hoping that one day my turn will come.

I use this app everyday! I used to go litter picking all the time & my main reason was to clear up my local park, which was always full of rubbish after the weekend. Now I can get rewarded for doing my bit for the environment.

Loving the app so far! Really easy to use and it’s such a fantastic idea! Gets me out of the house and I really feel like I’m making a difference to my local area. People always come up and ask me why I’m taking a picture of my hand in a bin and I tell them about the app and how they can win big money and they all seem really keen to download it. I see big things for litter lotto in the future!

A great idea and concept to make litter picking or throwing rubbish away fun with an incentive, I run a litterpicking group that is comprised of over 570 members who we actively encourage to use this app and although we have not won anything yet we feel this is a great way to get people thinking and involved. Those that are complaining about winnings or monetary side of things are obviously taking part for all the wrong reasons, it costs nothing to use the app nor cost a penny to throw litter away. This is just a bonus incentive and a good one at that! well done and keep up the great work!

I won a spot prize at the beginning of Feb but the Litter Lotto team (Simon) contacted me to say there was a problem with the payments team and he would look into why my prize had not been been paid. I have contacted the team on multiple occasions to chase but they are now not even reading my messages. It’s a shame because I was inspired by the app. They don’t seem to want to get to the bottom of the problem and in the end just seem to ignore issues, if they’re not easily rectified. It was too good to be true, I’m afraid.
