We went through the process of finding a housekeeper twice and both times were paired with an incompetent and difficult housekeeper who would not take direction, would not follow the guidelines of the contract, demanded payment weekly and wouldn’t pay taxes and or made us pay travel expenses on top of an already agreed high salary. The agency would not help or train the housekeepers and left it up to us. Both times. I don’t recommend for housekeeping. They get a huge cut and are not available to help solve the issue but call you every day when they are trying to get your business.

I had a great experience working with Laurane, she was professional, responsive, and truly attentive to my needs and preferences. Throughout the process, she kept me informed, gave valuable advice, and made sure I felt supported every step of the way. We had an extremely distressing and deeply disappointing experience with this agency. We approached them to find a temporary nanny for a 3-week period over Christmas to help care for our three children. From the outset, the agency informed us that it might be difficult to find suitable candidates, and ultimately we were presented with just one option.

Following the interview, the nanny seemed experienced and came with what we were told were excellent references. Silvia, our point of contact at the agency, provided the nanny’s contact details after we paid the full agency fee.

Unfortunately, what followed was one of the most traumatic experiences I have ever endured. From the very beginning, the nanny displayed unprofessional and inappropriate behavior questioning my parenting choices, criticizing the very fact that I had hired a nanny, and making unsettling, racially charged remarks. I have video evidence of some of this behaviour.

When I raised these serious concerns with the agency, I was told that someone from a similar background at the agency had reviewed the comments and determined they were not racist a shocking and dismissive response. The agency refused to take any responsibility, claiming they had completed proper due diligence and reference checks, which I now seriously doubt.

Things only escalated. The nanny was found drunk in my home on more than one occasion, sent me abusive and intoxicated messages, and even demanded more money than was originally agreed. Regrettably, I complied at the time, hoping things would improve. Eventually, we had no choice but to ask her to leave after another disturbing incident again, with photographic and video evidence provided to the agency.

To this day, I feel completely violated and let down. The trauma of allowing someone so unsuitable into my home, around my children, is something that continues to affect me. The nanny manipulated, gaslit, and took advantage of my kindness and inexperience with such situations. It wasn’t until a friend visited and noticed the signs of her being under the influence that I realized what was really going on.

We’ve had a long-standing, positive relationship with our weekend nanny, and have worked with other reputable local agencies for years without issue. This experience, however, has left me shaken and deeply regretful for ever placing my trust in this agency.

To make matters worse, after her dismissal, the nanny continued to harass me via WhatsApp with abusive messages. I’ve since blocked her, but the fact that she was ever recommended by a professional agency is deeply concerning.

This review is written not out of anger, but out of a sincere desire to prevent this from happening to another family. The agency failed completely in safeguarding, vetting, and responding to what was an incredibly serious and harmful situation. I would strongly caution others against using their services.

The instructor was really good, he made sure we knew what we were doing and practiced until we could do the First Aid. However, they did not cover all the topics they promised they would, and when I enquired afterwards, I had no reply. This led me to decide not to go back to them again.
