Easy process to follow in setting up a business account. I recommend them to anyone looking to open an account.

I normally never leave reviews, but after seeing Lloyds Bank business account adverts repeatedly on Facebook, I wanted to share my experience.
I applied for a business account and found the process extremely stressful and frustrating. I understand banks need to carry out checks, and I provided the information requested. However, after being asked how much I planned to deposit into the new account, I was then asked to prove where the money would come from and show the funds in my personal bank account.
I provided a screenshot showing the money available, but this was not accepted. I was told it needs to appear on my next bank statement, which will not be available for a few weeks.
This is only an initial deposit, and the amount may change depending on my business needs once the account is open. The process felt very rigid and made me feel like I was being investigated rather than supported as a genuine business customer.
The communication also felt cold, robotic, and unhelpful. Lloyds Bank should review how its business account application team communicates with potential customers.
Overall, this has been a very disappointing, stressful, and frustrating experience.

Utterly useless. Has taken 3 months to set up business account (even though I have been a Lloyds personal customer for 50 years), and now I cannot login to the finance account software which apparerently needs another login.
