I regret ever buying a sofa from Loaf. From the very first day it arrived, the cushions felt completely different to the showroom model — flat, cheap and uncomfortable. I raised this straight away, only to be told there was no issue. Months later, I suddenly received an email admitting the cushions had in fact been outsourced to a different manufacturer.
Replacement cushions were sent, but they were no better. They collapse almost instantly after sitting down, and despite hours of plumping and reshaping, they look and feel awful. This is nothing like the quality I was shown in the showroom and nothing like what I paid a premium price for.
This was my first ever brand-new sofa, and it has been a huge let-down. Loaf have admitted to swapping in inferior cushions but have failed to put it right. For a company that markets itself as a premium brand, this feels misleading and dishonest.
I would strongly advise anyone considering a purchase to think carefully before trusting Loaf — my experience has been extremely poor, and the product quality has never matched what was promised.

Myself and my partner visited the Wilmslow store this weekend and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Choi and the team were all very supportive and attentive without us feeling under any pressure to buy. Overall, a very relaxed buying experience. The Tunnocks, caramel bars and lots of chilled bottled water were such a treat!

I was made to feel very welcome by Carole, who helped me choose the material and wood for the chairs I was looking at. She took time to put materials on the different chairs, so that I could imagine the final look. This gave me time to make a choice that I would not have done, just looking at them online. So far a very good experience, we went to Loaf at the weekend to look at their mattresses after having bought a sofa (which we love) from them a couple of years ago . Everything went according to plan last time so hopefully it will do again. We bought a new bed and mattress to be delivered in a few week’s time. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the ordering process was easy.

I wanted to express how much my husband and I enjoyed our visit to the Wilmslow showroom over the weekend. We had a truly wonderful time. We were so warmly greeted by Kane and his team, and the complimentary Prosecco was a lovely touch. We also greatly appreciated the excellent advice we received from the interior designers regarding our room plans. We will definitely be returning. Thank you again for such a pleasant experience!

Our delivery of 2 sofas was due today & after receiving an email yesterday from Loaf informing us that there would be a delay it’s been completely impossible to get hold of anyone at all to find out what on earth is going on!!!! Wincanton who are the delivery company have been very apologetic but unable to assist further as they have not received the sofas at their depot. Every time I call the numbers supplied I get transferred back to wincanton!!!
Why doesn’t Loaf have a number to speak to someone on occasions like this. It’s absolutely ridiculous. PLEASE CAN LOAF REPLY ASAP. ITS VERY VERY FRUSTRATING. This is our 2nd delivery & we have spent thousands of £ with you 😡
UPDATE…..still no call but an email saying it’s now Monday 8th September!! We’ve waited long enough (as we did for the other two we bought from them!!) now at one days notice they have added another 10 days FFS!! Our old sofas are sold and have gone to make room for the new ones so no seats for bloody 10 days!!! Seriously do not deal with these people, they are top prices (which I don’t mind for good quality and service) and dreadfully poor service!! Please note the order is in the name of Suzie Hix.
UPDATE…..still not heard anything!! We are going to the shop today as cannot get through on the phone, absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

The sales process was brilliant but unfortunately the experience has deteriorated since then! We are now awaiting our third (second replacement) sofa - although I’m still awaiting confirmation as no one has replied to my email of over a week ago yet! The damage seems to be done at the warehouse so there is obviously something wrong in the process there. The inconvenience of having replacement sofas each time is increased due to the arms having to be removed each time (by me as the drivers are apparently not allowed to!) as the lounge is on the first floor. If after sales matched the sales process I would highly recommend but unfortunately it doesn’t.
