If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered vinyl from their bandcamp page on 1st April and still haven't received it. Every time I email I get an automated reply about "Pressing plant delays".
I buy from lots of indie labels and they have all suffered vinyl pressing issues this year, but not as long as this! And other labels provide updates regarding delays and respond to enquiries.

I have bought records from Lobster online shop (now closed) in the past, and like to support independent businesses, so I trusted the emails from Lobster Theremin saying "expected next month".
Unfortunately I trusted them for too long- it's been so long since I ordered that now I am unable to request a refund via bandcamp.
I've requested a refund from the label, but will be very surprised if I get a response as I've not had a reply from a real person since May.

Really poor communication and customer…

Really poor communication and customer service. I appreciate there have been delays due to covid, however you have to chase them around to get updates on the status of your orders (sometimes taking weeks to respond) and on one occassion I was told they did not/ will not be getting the record that I had preordered and prepayed for.

Customer service is poor unfortunately

Customer service is poor unfortunately. Placed an order and wanted to add to it, so sent an email straight away stating hold or cancel the order so I don’t incur another shipping change, but I did not receive a response for 7 days so it arrived.

The response just stated the order has been shipped, sorry. Not helpful.

The sleeves ripped on both records, probably during shipping. All good other than that

It took over a month and 2 emails to…

It took over a month and 2 emails to finally get an update on my order only to find out it was "paused due to a fault at the warehouse" after that it arrived in 4 days to the US. I spent ~120 GBP and had to chase down my order and only got a response after a month. I understand times are tough and short staffing, but simple communication letting someone who spent a lot of their hard earned money that a delay was coming and I would have totally understood. Just unfortunate I will have to take a long hard look before I make another purchase from a vendor that has such an extensive library of quality music.

Media condition was varied, some were sealed, some just in paper sleeves. One was so dirty I would have been embarrassed to give away as new.

Message to other potential buyers is just be wary you may have to chase down your orders for a few weeks.

The Client Support is too ignorant

The Client Support is too slow.
Had the situation, that I did not clear a vinyl out of my basket that I already own. Immediately after paying I realized it and contacted the client support to send me another EP instead or just do not send it to me and give me a voucher for my next order. I got a message days later (after the notification that it was already send out) that it was send out and they can not do anything about it-how convinient. Since the tax is super high and the shippent too from the non EU country-and the service getting worse because people stopped buying there so much-I will stop now too. Was just worth it, when the support is good and the help is there. (by the way..I pay 10 euros shipping PLUS 12 euros tax afterwards for a purchase of 26 euros, a joke)

Always class records

Always class records! Deliveries on time and I once had an issue that was solved amazingly by its support team! Defo a go-to shop!
