From using Loc8me for 2 properties I can say that their list of properties is fine but what really lets them down is their lack of communication and slow response time. They are very quick when you want to sign a property with them (of course). However once you move in they seem to disregard the tenants communication as we have had several problems to do with the houses which recieve no response for weeks and when they do reply it is very unhelpful which leaves me frustrated. Another issue we have seen with their lack of communication is to do with our deposit as after we switched properties we had no communication whatsoever about the status of our deposit until one of our parents had to send an email to them regarding the issue only to find out they have used up most of it without sending us an invoice. Now this would be more acceptable if they had communicated this to us. To make things worse they have not replied at all on regards of how to move forward with recieveing what we are owed. I feel as though they would not have even said anything and kept the deposit if a parent had not communicated with them as some of us tenants have inquired but recieved no useful information on the matter. If you want a housing company that doesn't view its tenants as a bank then try to not use loc8me. Another issue I had was on the moving day where everything was unprofessional with them telling us to arrive at 10am to collect keys and once we arrived they told us that the keys were not available until 3pm. They had changed the key collection time various times right before the move in day only for it to not even be the correct time. The staff didn't seem to care much and basically just told us to go away and come back when they were ready. To make things funnier when I eventually did collect the keys they asked us to follow their instagram but at that point I had enough of them so I did not. Overall they are very unprofessional and don't seem to care about tenants once they have moved in.
My experience with Loc8me has been very poor. Communication is slow, staff rarely follow through on what they promised, and issues take far too long to resolve, if resolved at all.
We currently have a breach of security as the front door remains broken. We had a break in because of this with weapons. Our door is still broken, even after the break in, despite a half attempt to piece the door together.
I do not feel safe. My food is stolen more than twice weekly. I do not recommend as I am chasing university support services to support me because of this.

complete lack of communication and respect for tenants. we didn’t choose them to be our landlords (there was a last minute switch up). do NOT choose these landlords. our house was dirty and had a rotting mouse in it because they couldn’t be bothered to check the house over. don’t answer texts or fix issues. they are rude, entitled and completely unprofessional. how are four 19 year olds more mature than these.
p.s notice how all of their responses to the one star reviews are all formatted in the same way? it’s because they do not care enough to give a personalised and detailed fix because they are so frequently in the wrong
