The transmission on this van was very touchy. Very difficult to downshift without killing the engine. Headlights need looked at as well.

The person and the check in counter was very nice and helpful. He made our experience much better than expected. He was also there when we returned the car and helped us get a taxi to the train station. Great Service!

This company has many locations and when I travel, they are always there for me with courteous service, and well maintained vehicles at a fair price.

I paid for a jeep and when I arrived I got a Skoda. They didn’t have any jeeps onsite. The Skoda was ok but we could have used the extra room that the jeep has for our luggage. No discount either. In addition, I was told I wouldn’t have to pay the alternate location drop off fee if we had it returned before 6 pm. When i arrived they charged me anyway.

they were flexible and kept office open 10 -15 minutes extra after the office closed to accommodate my train schedule which arrived at the same time they normally close due the day. the process of getting the car and returning it was straight forward. i loved that they had a gas station at the same location which made refueling way where returning the car.

Customer service was helpful and friendly. The documents considering the former damages were a bit inaccurate so we asked for the new ones and then everything worked really well.

From beginning to end, the staff, service, professionalism, advice and availability were second to none. Locauto were the only ones who could ensure an auto vehicle AND one way! We had an upgrade as well. The week was fantastic! Arezzo Loc and Firenze Borgo Loc just so good! Made it all very easy. We were worried about having to enter a ZTL to drop off the car but were assured this was not an issue.

While my auto rental experience was fine it was a major inconvenience that there was not a lock box for drop off of the vehicle. The office was only open until 12:30 on Saturday and closed on Sunday. Without a lock box I lost almost 2 days of car rental that I needed.
For that reason I would not rent again.

Car was ready for pick up and the paperwork easily completed. A few simple instructions and we were off.
