Pick up was a bit annoying because we arrived 30 min early and they said we have to wait even though I think the car was ready but it is not a big deal

You absolutely need to take detailed photos and videos of the car before and after rental!
We purchased full insurance through Booking, returned the car in good condition, and after the rental period ended, Locauto sent us an email claiming over €700 for an alleged scratch that was not present when we returned the vehicle.
No representative was present during return for a joint inspection, and no issue was mentioned at handover. It felt like an attempt to charge us afterwards without transparent evidence.
Thankfully, we had our own photos and challenged the claim. In the end, the case was closed with no charges applied.
Be very careful and document everything.

Complaint regarding AdBlue reimbursement refusal
While renting a car in the Dolomites, the vehicle suddenly displayed a warning that it would fail to start due to a lack of AdBlue. To prevent getting stranded, I proactively filled up the AdBlue at a mountain gas station. However, when I requested a refund from Locauto, the request was denied simply because the mountain gas station's receipt had "AdBlue" written by hand.
As a renter, I understand I am only responsible for refueling the diesel, and I have no obligation to top up the rental company's AdBlue. Furthermore, it is completely understandable that a remote gas station in the mountains could only provide a handwritten note for the AdBlue purchase. This is a minor amount of only €13, and it is disappointing that the company is unwilling to absorb such a small cost to understand the difficulties and urgent needs of their customers.
Anyone who has driven a diesel vehicle knows how distressing it is to suddenly see a warning that the car will not start due to low AdBlue, especially while driving in the mountains. I hope the company recognizes this issue and improves its customer service policies regarding such emergencies.

Thank you for your prompt reply and for looking into this matter.
As you mentioned, when we returned the car, the counter staff did refund one of the AdBlue receipts for €10. However, they refused to process the other €13 handwritten receipt from a mountain gas station and advised us to submit a claim through your customer service system.
We followed their instructions and filed a claim online, but the customer service team simply sent a brief reply stating that handwritten receipts cannot be reimbursed and that we should bear the cost ourselves.
To clarify, we had to top up the AdBlue twice, spending a total of €23 to fix the issue and get the car back to normal. Currently, the company has only covered €10, leaving the €13 handwritten receipt unresolved. As noted in my review, handwritten receipts are very common at remote mountain gas stations, and this was an unavoidable situation for us.
I hope the company will reconsider and process the remaining reimbursement. Please let me know if you need me to provide photos of the receipts again.

Picking up and returning the car was quick. The ordered car met expectations. The car was clean, the tank was full. Fast and high-quality service.

The car was quite dirty inside and outside.
The GPS was not working properly even wihtin Italy. Map connection was disappearing frequently and causing misrouting.
Overall, very high price paid for the rental was not equivalent to the car.

Booking process was good, the car was clean, we got the car type we ordered, the service qas good.
We had a small problem that we got a message to do maintenance, but after talking to the station, it was sorted.
The return in MXP airport was fast and good.
The only thing that was not good is that our flight was delayed and we had to pay extra after 23:00
