Great company, very honest and no bad surprises!

It was easy to book, pick up and return the car.

There was no gps-navigator in the small car we got so we had to use our phones for navigation.

The staff was acting fast. No waiting time. All employee were friendly and kind.

I hope you will not keep long time the deposit.

Great experience with Locauto Bergamo Airport. The car was clean and in excellent condition. Pickup and return were quick and easy, and the return process was smooth with no issues. I would definitely rent from them again.

Very helpful staff, almost new car which was very reliable throughout our stay. Easy checking out of the car and quick check back in too. We hired two car seats for our young children. We had to fit them ourselves, but we had choice of styles, all were fit for purpose. Clear instructions for shuttle bus, closest refuelling point and toll information.

Locauto literally saved my vacation after a terrible experience with another rental company.

Before coming to Locauto, I had a fully prepaid reservation with Record go. At the rental desk, I was refused the vehicle because I was told that my Ukrainian driving licence was not sufficient and that I needed an International Driving Permit (IDP). My payment was not refunded, and all of my subsequent attempts to resolve the issue resulted only in generic template replies.

I returned to the airport and decided to visit the Locauto office.

From the very first moment, the difference in customer service was remarkable. The manager carefully listened to my situation, checked my documents, and explained that, in their assessment, I could rent a vehicle using my Ukrainian driving licence. There were no unnecessary obstacles or attempts to complicate the process.

He quickly offered several vehicle options, clearly explained all rental conditions, arranged the paperwork efficiently, offered full insurance without any pressure, and a shuttle took me directly to the car.

The vehicle was practically brand new and in excellent condition. Throughout the entire rental period, everything worked perfectly.

Returning the car was just as impressive. The inspection was quick, professional, polite, and completely hassle-free. There were no attempts to invent damage or charge unexpected fees. After the return, I was comfortably transferred back to the airport by shuttle.

After this experience, I can honestly say that Locauto represents exactly how a professional car rental company should operate.

I would also encourage travelers, especially those holding non-European driving licences, to carefully check the requirements of each rental company in advance. My experiences with Record go and Locauto were completely opposite.

I highly recommend Locauto and will gladly choose them again on my next trip to Italy.

Catastrophe. Locauto Bergamo is charging me €1,270 for alleged damage to the roof of my rental car, without providing an invoice, repair estimate, or even photos of the damage, despite the fact that I dispute the claim.

The rental agreement is written entirely in Italian, making its terms and conditions very difficult for non-Italian speakers to understand.

Furthermore, during the vehicle inspection at the start of the rental, the roof was not inspected at all. Despite this, I am now being charged €1,270 for alleged damage to the roof without any invoice, repair estimate, or even photographs of the damage.

I strongly dispute this charge. I simply do not understand how the roof could have been damaged while the hood remained completely untouched. This does not make sense to me and is one of the reasons why I strongly dispute this claim.

I have photos and videos, but their customer service is unreachable, and their system for uploading evidence does not work.

To make matters worse, they do not issue repair invoices and do not even carry out the repairs, which means my insurance cannot process the claim.

My holiday has been ruined, and this has caused serious financial difficulties for both my daughter and me because of Locauto Bergamo.

Friendly and efficient service. The car was delivered without any problems; I picked it up and returned it undamaged. I recommend it.

What convinced me to rent a car was that all I needed was a debit card, and the service was friendly, reliable, and in a good atmosphere. The rental process was quick and safe.

I had a very disappointing experience with Locauto at Bergamo Airport. Even though I had a confirmed and fully paid reservation, the employee gave my reserved vehicle to another customer. This caused unnecessary stress, delays, and completely disrupted the start of my trip. I expected much better service and respect for confirmed bookings. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
