I have been a Locauto customer for many years, unfortunately, for the first time i’m very disappointed. I ordered a compact class car (Peugeot 308 or similar) and received a class B car (Jeep Avanger) which was too small for 5 adults. Moreover, although the car was new, it was handed over to me with no air in one of the tires, so right after leaving the airport on the highway from Bologna to Faenza I had to pump the tire, and throughout the entire stay i had to pump tire every day.

We were misled by the woman who…
We were misled by the woman who assisted us. We had to cancel our previous reservation, which couldn’t be resolved on-site, and we were assured that we would receive a refund. The refund was denied by the company. After canceling the reservation, the woman made a new one and offered us the only car available. It was twice the price and included all kinds of insurance that we weren’t even asked if we wanted. I feel ripped off. I won’t be using this company’s services again.

Exceptional service at Bologna Airport
I had an excellent experience with Locauto at Bologna Airport. The lady who assisted me was absolutely amazing. It was high season and availability was limited, but she went out of her way to find me exactly the type of car I needed. I really appreciated the effort and personal attention.
The whole team was wonderful — friendly, professional, efficient and genuinely helpful from beginning to end. Everything went smoothly and I felt very well looked after.
I will definitely rent from Locauto again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable car rental company in Italy. Thank you to the entire Bologna Airport team for such a great experience!
