Worse car than what i paid for
I got a car of a lower category than what i paid for. I could make my own selection but the existing options in the garage were too limited and lowest category.
Car was clean and in good condition.

Everything went very smoothly
Everything went very smoothly, the attendants in garage were friendly and professional, we received better car than reserved. Price with full coverage is not even close to half what the known rental corporations charge. Will return for sure.

Quick and simple process to follow
Quick and simple process to follow. Car was well prepared and in very good shape. It was very convinient to take car from Bologna and give it back in Verona.
One thing can be improved though - address to leave a car at Verona train station was not very precise and required some searching.
Plus "office" for garage employees in Bologna could be improved for employees comfort.

I recommend Locauto in Italy
I'm very pleased with the services provided by Locauto when I hired a car in late March 2024. The service centre and collection garage in Bologna, Italy are convenient and the staff are helpful.
The lady of the centre explained the street parking categories when I enquired. She also warned about the pedestrian zone during Easter holiday. I could return the car with ease while the garage was not staffed.
Indeed I'd like to thank the garage gentleman who demonstrated how to use the device to pump the tires. He doesn't speak English but he could deliver the message to tourists, politely.
I didn't notice the time limit of the devices at the gas station (selected pump number before I parked to the lot), got a deposit slip of €50 which I could not refund during Easter when there is no staff. I gave it to the airport counter. The staff gave me a photocopy of the voucher, and would try what they could do about it with my hiring record. Appreciated.

good experience!
Car pick-up took some time but without issues. Got a bigger car then ordered. Car was great with only limited amount of km driven. Car return went really quick, friendly guy who tried his best to handle the administration as quick as possible, since we were in a hurry to catch our plane.
