Good car
The car was really good and clean. However, we paid a very more expensive price for having an automatic car (around 150€ for automatic, two or three times more expensive than the manual one), but once we got there they told us that they were ran out of automatics so they had to give us a manual one.
We told them that we didn’t have a problem with that (although we told them that I have knee issues that makes me feel really uncomfortable driving manual), but also asked them for the returning of the money paid in excess.
They told us that “unfortunately” that was not something they could help us with, and told us to try to claim by other way (booking.com or something).
I am not complaining about the service or the treatment, all of the employees that assisted us were really nice and the car was good, but the situation abovementioned was a disrespect in my opinion. It got us really angry because we have wasted our money in a service we didn’t get to enjoy, and they showed reluctant to give us our money back (we actually didn’t get our money back) , and that is a shame.

Highly recommend Locauto
Highly recommend Locauto, most straight forward and stress free experience. We collected the vehicle in Bologna and returned to Naples 4 days later. The customer service at both locations was fantastic. Car was spotlessly clean and in near new condition.
