At first the staff tried repeadetly talk us into buying a higher insuranceclass, which we declined. Otherwise we had a good experience, got a higher class than booked and no issues during the journey or when giving the car back.

have a very low opinion of this service. I was initially given a car at Cagliari Airport that had a defect with the left rear tyre, which forced me to replace the vehicle at Olbia Airport.

When I returned the replacement car in Cagliari, it was in the same condition as when I picked it up, with no new damage or defects, as documented in the vehicle inspection report. Despite this, I was subsequently charged more than €300 for alleged damages.

I find this charge completely unjustified, particularly given that the original tyre issue was identified as a manufacturing defect. I therefore request that this charge be reviewed and cancelled immediately.

I hope this complaint will be properly investigated and that the charge will be withdrawn accordingly.

We have rented a car from Locauto in Cagliari Sardinia. Everything went smooth. Service was good and no deposit has been asked. There were no problems during drop off as well in another city. You just have to pay extra fee for leaving car in another city.

Everything great with the car 👌 perfect, no complaints there.
But the insurance in very expensive - don’t take the insurance from booking.com because it doesn’t cover anything, just rent a car on their site. Only pay for the insurance that is actually valid at the location - not before!

The process of booking and then receiving the car was quite fast and convenient. The only drawback was that when I picked up the car, they did persuade me to pay extra for warranty coverage, although I had not planned to do so. They argued that it was "high season" with a large number of cars, accidents and necessary service support on the roads outside the city. Since this was my first trip to the island, they convinced me - and as a result the price was definitely not the lowest.
But in the rest everything was great: a new comfortable car, good equipment, wonderful (although a bit too narrow and with lot of speed limits) roads and a very fast and trouble-free return.

Good, quite new car, easy car return at 5 a.m. One star minus for forcing me to insurance and full tank non-return service with lying about the size of the gas tank to force me to pay for it.

They had a car for us (Peugeot 208 hybrid) right away, no credit card needed.
