Best car rental experience ever.
Started when we arrived to their airport office.
No queue. A very nice employee made the paperwork in a few minutes.
No hidden extra cost, free upgrade, and off we went.
The car was pretty much brand new.
Same experience when we returned.
Very kind guy at the lot, did the final check, and we were on our way.
I will choose Locauto whenever they are present at travelling location.

Good experience with check in / return despite whole rental centre being busy. Friendly staff and not pushy like some can be. Overall very positive.

Easy pickup and dropp-off
It was overall a good experience. Nice car as well. One thing. The paperwork at the office, you can easily digitalise. Its not necessary to fill out adress details and where you are going to stay. Do that step online and just sign at the office desk.

Smooth hire and no fraudulent charges at the end for non existent damage. A major thing when reading reviews for italian hire cars in general. The clerk could've been a bit nicer to us when we were at the desk and realized all our cards and the money on them had been stolen on the airport tram ride.

Good rental for cross border travel
I went with Locauto because it's one of the few companies that allow travel between all the EU countries. The car I got was great for highway driving. The staff was accommodating. I paid more than I typically would for a car rental, but it was worth the hassle free experience and peace of mind.
