Fiat Pandina with full insurance - We had a very good experience. Both the pick-up and return process were quick and without any problems. The car was new and everything was perfectly fine. With full insurance, no deposit is required. We would be happy to come back again.

I recently rented a car from Locauto and had a genuinely great experience from start to finish. The entire process was smooth and efficient, no unnecessary waiting, no complicated paperwork. The Locauto staff were friendly, professional, and made everything feel easy and stress-free.
The car itself was in excellent condition, clean, well-maintained and exactly what we needed for our trip. Everything worked perfectly throughout the rental period.
The only suggestion I'd make for improvement would be for Locauto to open a desk directly at Perugia Airport. Having to arrange separate transportation to pick up the car adds an extra step that could easily be avoided. A presence right at the terminal would make an already great service truly perfect for travelers flying in.
Overall, a fantastic rental experience with Locauto. I would definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone visiting the area!

Worst experience ever with a car rental agency. They are stuck with payment policies from 20 years ago, not accepting cash, Apple Pay, or any modern payment methods. On top of that, they refuse to issue a refund when they are the ones unable to accept modern forms of payment in 2026.

Avoid booking online with this low-quality company. I’m sorry to give even 1 star to a company like this—unfortunately there’s no option for 0 stars (which would still be too many).

Tariff system was obscure and difficult to understand. They just charged what they fancied.

Smooth and quick drop-off, as usual. They also called a taxi for me.

The attendant Eva was very professional. She upgraded me to a better car. When I returned it, she gave me a ride to the train station.

The lady at the desk showed up a few minutes late in true Italian form, but she was extremely polite AND was more than willing to help me out with the rental. The car was clean, fully tanked and she acknowledged any damages that were present prior to me taking possession of the car. I am not Italian, so we had to converse in English and she was perfect. In all the visit lasted 10 minutes and it was extremely efficient. The rental location is easy to find and conveniently nestled next to a gas station. Therefore the utility of this rental company is high. They seem to offer Enterprise as well (likely a franchise partnership).
