Dishonest fuelling
The hire went smoothly enough, but the car wasn't full when we collected it. I told the company about this on return (and provided photographic evidence) but they lied about the brand of car having an unreliable petrol gauge. They also tried to make out that the perceived fuel economy we achieved (I.e. accounting fornthe missing fuel) based on refuel cost and mileage, was reasonable. But it really wasn't.
It wasn't worth arguing over, but I'd never use them again.

I found it very difficult and stressful…
I found it very difficult and stressful to drop the car back after hours.
Although I had mentioned to the guy when I hired we would either drop it back late at night or early the morning of the 3rd.

Super friendly, helpful and effective staff. Both the pick up and drop off super smooth - took no more than 10 minutes. Car was super. Everything clean and fresh - just as you want. Overall a super experience!

Syracuse/Siracusa staff was nice
Rented in Syracuse/Siracusa and returned at Canaria Airport. One of the very few all around positive rental car experiences I’ve had in my life. Very friendly man at the Siracusa office.

Despite having damage insurance they…
Despite having damage insurance they charged me $200 for a damaged tire + get this, a $70 fine. I had a flat tire. There was no spare tire. I had roadside insurance with them. Had to wait for a tow truck. It took them 5 hours, while I was freezing outside. Will never rent with them again..
