Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 267 reviews, reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the exceptionally friendly drivers who provide great information and keep everyone thoroughly entertained throughout the journey. Consumer feedback highlights that the coaches are very clean, comfortable, and make wonderful day trips truly special. However, some people mentioned that certain buses arrived late, experienced technical problems, or featured somewhat cramped seating. A few reviewers also noted that coaches occasionally parked too far from main areas, which proved difficult for travellers with walking issues. Additionally, a handful of consumers felt that some itinerary stops offered limited choices or missed planned destinations entirely.

Last Week I did a trip with Caledonian to Sitrlingshire, had an amazing time. So thought I would give Loch Lomond a try, and yeah they just cancelled the tour lol.

If you book with Loch Lomond, expect a fair chance of it just being cancelled. Don't bother making plans.

Emmerdale experience- although the itinerary was changed we had been notified in plenty of time and it was outwith loch lomond travels control. I am a very anxious person which means being in a car traveling limits to how far i can go but i am comfortable on coaches, the fact that loch lomond travel have awesome drivers makes this even more confortable for me to do, shout out to Andrew, absolutely amazing guy and goes above and beyond to make the experiance that bit more enjoyable! The changed experiance was absolutely out of this world and cannot wait to do another one with loch lomond travel! If i had to choose one downfall, it would be that there was no charging ports on the bus and worrying if my battery will last to be able organise a lift when dropped of was a bit of a dampener but over all, amazing!

Booked a mystery weekend for our anniversary

Booked a mystery weekend for our 2nd wedding anniversary, we went in with zero expectations except with us both being 30.. expect everyone to be twice our age since its a bus tour but the age ranges were very mixed! We had a chat with some lovely older women on the bus and at the hotel, in total we had 6 stops.

We got picked up promptly at 8 at Irvine, picked up at other locations then our first stop was the Kelpies. We were there for an hour, enough time for a coffee, some pictures and a toilet break. Afterwards we went on up to Dundee where we were for 2 hours, again a perfect amount of time to explore and grab some lunch. Our destination for the night was in Aberdeen where we arrived just before 6.

When we pulled up at the Britannia Hotel in Aberdeen I thought it was something out of a tv program like my holiday hell or something, the outside of the place was so run down and dated, even the reception looked extremely dated. All I was hoping for was a decent bed to kip on but to our surprise the room was very modern and fancy!

Dinner was included and was alright, buffet menu and variety for everyone. Wasn't outstanding but edible, breakfast was similar to a Premier Inn breakfast and again done the job!

There was entertainment at night from 8-10, the host Edna was great we had a 60s music quiz and there was 2 other buses of Dutch people there also so about 80 of us in the lounge for the quiz and a dance afterwards!

Driver didn't really say much the whole journey, couple of riddles for our destination but we didn't really know where we were going most of the time.. I think we were supposed to have a tour guide alongside him telling us about places we were driving by on the way?

Sunday we had breakfast at 8am, bus for 9am and on the way home. We stopped at Braemar for 30 mins then down to St Andrews for 2 hours. After St Andrews a stopover at Anstruther for a fish tea for an hour before heading home!

All in all I would absolutely book one again, maybe try a day trip this time but don't go in with mega expectations. We paid £80pp and for what you get we had a superb weekend for the money!! It's not a 5 star all inclusive trip youre going on, its dinner, bed and breakfast and some entertainment at night.

Brilliant day trip on 12/6/26 to St Andrews and Anstruther.
Driver Georgie was excellent.
Time in each destination perfect.
Only negative my booking confirmation stated pick up at Buchanan Street Bus Station was at 8:30. Other people had 9:00 on theirs, this lead to some confusion. Pick up was in actual fact 9:00, if it had been 8:30 people would have been late

Midweek Mystery Tour

Just home (yesterday ) from a great midweek Mystery Tour with LLT and Daniel the driver. He kept us amused with his rubbish Dad Jokes. He was good at keeping the whole week a mystery. The hotel was well placed for access to the M6. The staff were good. The entertainment was excellent and food was average.

Loch Lomond Holidays Lewis and Harris

I have just returned from a Loch Lomond Holiday to Lewis and Harris. The holiday started with a pick up at Perth. Craig, the driver, welcomed us and directed us to our seats on the coach. Throughout the four day holiday, Craig was available to help customers and also participated in the activities. He is a naturally friendly and made everyone on board the coach feel comfortable.
The hotel was comfortable and the food was very good. The stand out was the staff, all showed general warmth with the guests, a special mention of Abigail, who handled a difficult situation professionally and with a smile. We toured Lewis one day and Harris the next accompanied by a very knowledgeable and interesting guide (Chris). The tours were well chosen, informative, and very interesting.Highly recommend Loch Lomond Holidays, and Craig in particular.

We had a great time away

We had a great time away. Seeing and being on a train pulled by the flying Scotsman was amazing. The hotel was good and buffet breakfast and dinner was great.
I felt the seating on the bus was a bit cramped. The driver was very helpful.
The order we visited other included places seemed too haphazard.

Ghost tour weekend

The driver was great, the bus clean. The hotel was five star. The only thing missing was an itinerary, had to rely on driver to tell us timings of everything. Understand road works can cause delays but we had no time to rest between having dinner in the hotel and leaving for the castle tour. Maybe hotel closer to castle would be better. Wouldn't stop me recommending it to others.

The coach was clean and very comfortable we arrived on time despite extensive road works on the m8

Need more time to explore...

I was initially meant to go to Oban & inverary but it unfortunately got cancelled due to low interest so i swapped it for a mystery day trip with LLT and ended up at St Andrews & Anstruther. I didn't realize it was 2 locations to start with & was surprised to hear we only got 2hrs in St Andrews, felt very rushed & not enough to go about the shops, see sights etc. We then got the same amount of time in Anstruther but there's hardly anything to do, feel like 3-3.5hrs would've been better in St Andrews. I still recommend LLT as it gets me to places I wouldn't have been able to on my own due to not having my own transport yet and it allows me to see locations that I come back to in the future & explore in my own time.

We really enjoyed this day out

We really enjoyed this day out. Paul our driver was lovely and very helpful. We went to St Andrews and Anstruther and the weather was horrendous. We had thunder and lightning and hailstones but hey it's Scotland in the summer. Got another trip booked in July for overnight stay so looking forward to that.
