Complex purchase, handled with expertise and sensitivity.

Whilst the purchasing of our home was not straightforward by any means, it would have been made more complicated without the expert advice and guidance offered by our representative from Lockings, Lucy Pickering. She is an absolute star, no job was too much, she worked outside of her hours, and genuinely/generally ensured that we were able to complete on time. I could not recommend her highly enough, worth going to Lockings just for her support.

Most of the work was electronic which made things easier when there was 3 of us who had to sign for everything.

Adele and team in conveyancing, fantastic work, very efficient, always available to sort out sny issues that arose.

I cannot fault Locking's whom we have used for
the second time. I would highly recommend them for your house move. Moving is very stressful and Declan, Ed and the CS Team were great in helping us make some difficult but ultimately the right decisions. And they successfully chased all the other solicitors in the chain. I would highly recommend using a local firm such as Lockings for your house move and avoid like the plague the slightly cheaper online conveyancing services who just do not cut it IMO.

Lockings have been excellent in handling my house purchase! They have been so easy to deal with, communication has been excellent, professional and polite, everything has run so smoothly. Earlier this year they also handled a probate case, all stress and worry evaporated as soon as they became involved. I can’t thank them enough! The take-on process was smooth and fast with clear information provided from the outset.
Rachelle and Stephanie were excellent, especially when difficult moments called for calm professionalism.

I was kept updated via phone or email.They could be contacted easily via phone if I wanted go speak to someone.When my sale was in danger of collapse they did everything they could to ensure my sale went through.I am extremely grateful.

Lockings solicitors in Beverley are completely unprofessional. Adele in particular was rude about us to a colleague via email who in turn forwarded the email on to us! Not pleasant to receive and completely unjustified. Also, Stamp Duty was calculated wrong. I have used Lockings for previous house sales and purchases but will definitely not use again. Terrible solicitors who are incompetent and arrogant. Their only saving grace is William who we found to be thorough and approachable.
