Steve did an excellent job to fit our loft ladder. Great and clear communication, tidy and timely execution of the job and we’re very pleased with the end result. He even humoured my 4 year old who was keen to help throughout. Thumbs up from us and a ‘super’ from the 4-year old.

Professional, polite, efficient and excellent value for money. It is so nice to deal with such a genuine company that gives clear and simple advice and great service. Sending a text to update on arrival time was a very welcome additional touch.
The finished job is very neat and a huge improvement on what we had in place.

Our loft ladder broke away from its moorings with the hatch down requiring a prompt replacement. Of the two contacts made (one a trade directory and the second a small business), Loft Ladder Expert was the first to offer a next business day visit for the estimate and fitting (if either the estimate or location was unsuitable the fitting would not go ahead). Loft Ladder Expert Steve arrived as planned with a text message of his eta, surveyed our requirement and recommended a 2 section extending loft ladder with pull down rod. We had viewed his web site which had illustrated the options clearly as well as describing the efficient one visit approach. The old ladder was dismantled and the new one installed. The service and ladder were as described. A 5 star service indeed.

Everything involved in dealing with Steve was simple, easy, efficient & very quick. Steve assured me that there was no need to quote and ordered and booked a suitable date to come to my home to install it. I was amazed at how quickly he removed the old hatch, installed a replacement and installed the ladder. All told he took no more than a couple of hours. He also did all the necessary cutting work outside and laid down covers on my stairs and landing to avoid creating or leaving behind any mess. I love the fact that I can now quickly and easily access my loft. The ladder is sturdy, easy to use and great quality. I recommend anyone who is thinking of getting a ladder fitted to contact Steve.

A stress free installation

Steve arrived on time; listened to our requirements, talked through the options and then got on and fitted the loft ladder, doing a really neat job.
Overall a positive, quick and friendly service at a very reasonable price.

Steve fitted a 3 section ladder and also changed my loft hatch cover to a drop down type. Steve done a fantastic job. Was very polite and friendly and arrived on the time he gave me.
Another company probably would have sold me a whole new loft hatch but Steve said he could just replace the hatch lid, which he did and looking at the new lid you would think it was a whole new loft hatch.
Fixed price so you know what the cost is. Really happy with the workmanship and didn’t even need to get the hoover out after as Steve works in a tidy fashion.
Would definitely recommend Steve.

Steve fitted us in at short notice. The experience was easy. The website has good videos so you know exactly what you are getting. The price is a simple menu system so you know what you’ll pay. On the day, Steve messaged with an arrival time and efficiently fitted the loft ladder. We’ve already recommended him to friends who have booked him. Never been up to the loft so much now it’s so easy!

Steve did a fantastic job on our loft, converting it into a drop down hatch with ladder allowing for easy access. He was able to come out the same week as my initial enquiry and completed the job on the day. He was polite and friendly throughout, including showing me how to operate it once complete.
