Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Exceptional vegan red velvet cupcakes, we love this place after Tora in West Ealing - An indepedent cafe run by a husband and wife duo with the assistance of some additional staff. The coffee and cakes are fabulous and a must try for all those seeking simple and well executed treats. Friendly and accommodating service with opening hours from early to late - the only remaining predicament is whether to have another slice of cake or not.

I ordered the Eton Mess Cake and it was delicious!
There was a mixup with the address but Lolas Ealing handled this mix up very professionally and it still arrived ahead of scheduled, I was super impressed!
The cake was so fresh and would highly recommend the Eton Mess Cake, it was well presented, extremely fresh and so yummy.
Would definitely be ordering from Lolas again.

I celebrated my 50th yesterday and…
I celebrated my 50th birthday yesterday and ordered the large Fresh Berry Cake. We were at a pub, and I quickly went downstairs to grab more plates because we didn’t have enough. By the time I came back — the cake was gone! It was so delicious, people couldn’t even wait for plates and were enjoying it off napkins!
The cake disappeared within minutes — everyone absolutely loved it! Some guests even gave it a 10/10. The website was really helpful too, with detailed descriptions of the ingredients and clear photos of each cake slice. Ordering and pickup were seamless.
I’ll definitely be ordering the same cake every year from now on!

Mini tall cake …
Presentation could’ve been a little more neat however the sponge was nice. The icing was very grainy and not smooth at all. The icing tasted like sugar crystals, not sure if that was what they were going for or if this was just a mistake it is a shame because the sponge was very nice.

We're very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the icing used on this cake.
This cake uses and American style buttercream, which is primarily made from butter and sugar and can certainly taste less smooth compared to a cream cheese or mascarpone icing option.

Mermaid birthday cake of her dreams
Our daughter loved the cake and said it was “the mermaid birthday cake of her dreams”! It was gorgeous on the outside and delicious. Everyone was talking about it and most importantly my daughter was so happy with it.

This cake does use a buttercream icing that is much sweeter in taste than the cream cheese or mascarpone icings, so this can certainly be a matter of preference if you prefer a more balanced treat like our Red Velvet or Fresh Berry cake designs.

Cake was very good. A bit expensive for the size. Was surprised to see the ingredients, a lot of oil and palm oil. Service instore Was very good. Website I thought was hard to maneuver.

We do take great care to offer only high quality ingredients and are consistently revaluating if there are certain ingredients that our customer's are concerned with that we can move away from, which is part of why we've worked hard to move away from artificial colourings where possible.

Cool customer
Cake was well packaged and kept cool in the fridge in extremely hot conditions outside. I kept in the fridge until later that evening and was perfect when consumed later that night! Taste is delicious and just the right size for our needs.

I am sorry you felt the cake was not balanced in flavour. I can see from your order you ordered the mini tall cake. Due to the layers and height of this particular cake there is more buttercream than usual as it is used to sandwich the sponges together as well as decorate the outside. This will also make the cake taste sweeter than the regular layer cakes we offer.
