Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Sweet to the taste😋
The cupcakes are very sweet and delicious, I love it. When the cupcakes are chilled in the fridge, the texture of the icing is thick like a fudge whereas if in room temperature, the icing is creamy and fluffy and I do like the icing picture of the International Women's Day

I ordered a cake from the Lolas for gender reveal party and it was absolutely amazing, fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. On top of that, the customer service was outstanding. The staff at Cutty Sark were friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. Highly recommend for both quality cakes and excellent service!

Customer service disaster
i have been buying cakes from Lola’s for over 12 years. I used to buy from them when they were not even popular. Recommended Lola’s to many friends and neighbors in the early days and always used to order from them etc etc. Always felt good visiting their stores. Had the odd poor customer service but overall positive.
Until today when I was so shaken by the extremely discriminatory and disrespectful behavior I had to face at their Greenwich Market branch. I wonder if the new job description for the customer service role has added condescension and mocking people to the required skills? Or Lola’s has started recruiting random people from the University of Greenwich without any customer experience? If so, a dangerous move for the brand, because this particular branch appalled me with the level of poor behavior displayed by the staff members in assisting someone with a hidden disability despite requests for help. I was with a young child and could not speak up for myself then but the attitude of the staff member was shocking. And then I email their customer service regarding this and guess what I get? A measly £7.90 voucher for free cupcakes. For something that shocked me, the way I felt treated as a human and with the level of distress it caused? As a response to discrimination, disrespect and condescension and even a wee bit colorism? The world is messed up enough already without a visit to a cupcake shop now becoming a distressing experience!
Very disappointed with you Lola’s, both with the store staff and the way my complaint was responded to. You let down a long term loyal customer.
