Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. I am sorry to hear that you found this cake too sweet.
As there are four layers of sponge in this cake there is more frosting to sandwich the layers, and with the addition of white chocolate shards and the buttercream used on the outside, this can make the cake on the sweeter side.

How the cake is store can affect the taste and the texture. If it is served straight from the fridge, it can sometimes taste a bit dry – we always recommend letting it come to room temperature before serving to bring out the best texture and flavour.

Too sweet
The cake is beautiful but it is super sweet. I shoudve believed everyone in the comment saying it's too sweet. Just a waste of my money on this one but hey atleast I can say I tried this cake instead of wondering what it would taste like.

Vegan Biscoff Caramel Cake
Vegan Biscoff caramel cake. Absolutely delicious. We have had this cake on a couple of occasions for my daughter’s birthday and everyone comments on how fresh it is. Would definitely recommend whether vegan or not.
