Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Yummy birthday cake!
The assistant was very helpful and knowledgeable and talked me through the various cakes. I chose the chocolate and raspberry birthday cake and it was delicious! Moist sponge, just the right amount of cheese frosting / cream and fresh raspberries!

The cream was too heavy, it was not tasty or juicy but buttery and the cake was dry. We didn’t like it. We love this brand and we buy there every week for the kids. They have other cupcakes that are much better, gluten-free and tastier. This edition was not a success.

Salted Caramel experience
Ordering the birthday cake was very easy to do, the staff very really helpful.
When the cake was ready for collection we were given the cake in a nicely presented box and strong bag.
The salted caramel cake was incredibly moist and with flavour, definitely has our new favourite flavour from Lola’s

As a first-time customer, I visited Lola's outlet store in Bromley - The Glades Shopping Centre to place my order. It was a birthday cake for my daughter, and we selected the "Sponge Cake: Cookies and Cream." The cake's taste, texture, and decorative presentation were brilliant. Everyone loved it! The lady who served me seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. The service was excellent and smooth, from placing the order to collection. The cake was packed in a strong and well-presented cardboard box to provide extra protection during transportation. Overall, I am a very happy customer and will shop again. Finally, we've found our cake store, thank you Lola's Cupcakes!

Great service
We had ordered a cake to pick up but it hadn't been delivered to the store yet. Completely my fault as I hadn't read the timings right. However, there was a similar cake on the counter and the lady asked if I wanted that one instead, then she could replace it with the one I had ordered. This was a great idea and helped me out. Great initiative from her. She was so friendly and really helpful.

This is my first time complaining after…
This is my first time complaining after being a customer of Lola’s Cupcakes for a while, and purchasing at least 4 birthday cakes every year. The cake I ordered this time looked great, but was extremely dry and hard to eat. Also being chocolate, I expected a real rich and strong chocolate flavour but it lacked depth and taste unfortunately.

I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with your recent order, I can assure you that everything is made fresh to order but I will pass this feedback onto our bakery.
Our cakes do need to be left at room temperature for at least 2 hours before serving to give them a chance to warm up , otherwise they can appear a little hard.
