Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Love less sugar cakes
Personally standard cakes from Lola is too sweet for me and our family. I chose the less sugar cream cheese frosting chocolate cake for my son’s birthday and everyone said its sweetness is perfect and the best they had in UK! Please make more less sweet cakes!

Not satisfied with my order
I usually get the cakes from Lola but this time the cake didn’t taste fresh at all. The sponge was dry and crumbly. Wasn’t very happy at all and we didn’t end up eating the cake.

I am very sorry to hear you thought the cake seemed dry.
This does not sound as per our usual high standard at all and not a reflection of our usual customer experience.
I can assure you we never pre-make any cakes in advance and all items are prepared and delivered fresh to order.
The cakes are kept chilled in our vans during delivery then in stores awaiting collection and can seem a little hard or dry in texture at first. It is best to allow the cake to come to room temperature before consumption.

Love Lola’s cupcakes for several reasons! The cupcakes are exceptionally good - it’s so tasteful and fresh every single day! The service is also amazing! I miss having a local shop in Reading so I didn’t need to travel to London to buy it. That should be great!

Delicious cake
The cake was absolutely delicious. The reason I'm unhappy is because when I collected my order from Selfridges in London, they had no big bags. I had to carry my mums cake all the way to West Norwood in my hands. The Young man was not very helpful.
You need to make sure that you have bags for customers so that they can carry their cakes with ease.

Season’s special cupcakes👍👏
I ordered mini season special cupcakes and regular gluten-free/vegan cupcakes for my child’s Christmas party, and all the children and adults were happy with them! The fascinating cupcakes made the party more shiny, and the prompt service from the friendly staff made it even better. Highly recommend Lora’s cupcakes/cakes for your special occasions!
