Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

We would like to assure you that all of our products are made from scratch and handcrafted by our bakery team, who take great pride in using high-quality ingredients to create fresh cakes and cupcakes baked for the date of delivery.
We do understand that sweetness preferences can vary from person to person. If you found the buttercream icing too sweet, we also offer cream cheese and mascarpone icing options, which many customers prefer for a lighter and less sweet flavour profile.

They were ready, beautifully packed and so nice! We served only vegan ones with champagne for our wedding reception and they were a triumph!

Beautiful and tasty cakes
I've ordered 2 medium cakes for my baby shower and I've picked up the order from Shoreditch. Everything was ready on time, well packed and the service was nice. I've ordered the lemon and raspberry cake and the vegan brownie cake and had personalised writing on them. I had about 30 people over and everyone loved the cakes and some went for a second round. A lot of good options to chose from online.

Ordered Large vanilla rainbow birthday…
Ordered Large vanilla rainbow birthday cake for a 6yr old..was very disappointed, cake was medium hard, no moisture. Extremely sweet, didnt go well with guests. Appearance was nice.

All of our cakes are freshly baked using high quality ingredients, so we are very sorry that your experience on this occasion didn’t reflect this.
We do recommend cakes to be out 2-3 hours before serving to allow the whole cake to reach room temperature as this can really affect the moisture and texture of the sponge.

Looked nice but very very sweet & dry!
The cake looked really nice. However, the taste wasn't great. I bought from Lolas because usually the cupcakes taste really nice so i thought this cake will also taste just like that. But it was a disappointment. The cake was dry and very very sweet. Not child friendly. It was overly sweet.

Our bakery team takes great care in using high-quality ingredients to bake orders fresh every day so we can best ensure that our cakes look and taste amazing and we apologise again that we fell short on this occasion.
Our cakes and cupcakes use the same sponge and icing recipes, however you may find differences in taste if you typically enjoy our cakes and cupcakes with ganache or cream cheese icings if you try a cake like this with our buttercream icing as this icing is our sweetest icing option.
