Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Delicious lotus biscoff cake
I had the lotus caramel cake and it was such a hit for my birthday. It was the perfect balance for sponge to filling ratio. The worker in the South Kensington branch was so helpful and I highly recommend. I always get my birthday cakes from here!

Unfortunately gluten/vegan cake not a good option
Easy pick up and friendly staff in store. However, a customised order is not possible. Most cakes are offered in small, medium and large. The one I wanted (raspberry lemon vegan and gluten free) was just offered in medium and large. I emailed well in advance to ask if they can make the cake in small, was not possible. I had to order the medium one for a group of 6 thinking that we can then offer two slices per person. Unfortunately, people did not like the cream. The sponge was ok but the cream was too sweet. In the end people did not even finish the first slice so we had more than half the cake left. We love their red velvet cake but for a gluten and vegan option to accommodate guests I would not order this particular cake again.

I can see that you ordered our Vegan and gluten free lemon and raspberry cake.
I am sorry that we were not able to make a small version of this cake for you. We sadly do not offer a bespoke service so we are not able to customise our cakes at all.
This cake is decorated with a vegan buttercream icing, this is our sweetest icing type and can sometimes be too sweet for some. I would recommend one of our cakes with a vegan cream cheese icing for future as this is not as sweet and may be more to your taste.

Bought the Safari cake
Bought the Safari cake , lemon and raspberry. Looked stunning, tasted great. Only I would say they advice to leave atoom temperature for couple of hours. Was okay, but when I ate the rest from the fridge, was even better. Not so sweet and sticky
