Dr Zioga should be called an artist. She made me so comfortable during the procedure that I almost forgot I was there. The new hairline looks totally natural and density is exactly what I was promised. I have already recommended Dr Zioga to all my friends and family and I cant thank her enough. It has now been 9 months since the hair transplant and the results are really great. I didn't remember having so much hair!

The Unshaven technique allowed me not to have my head shaved and, in just over a week, I was back at work with NO signs (no-one noticed anything strange...).

What I particularly appreciated, in addition to the great knowledge and skills of Dr Zioga, was the fact that before being assessed suitable for the surgery, I was invited to undergo a series of clinical tests. This made me feel that I was in the hands of a health practitioner who, in addition to taking care of my hair, was mainly concerned with my health and safety.

I had a 5700 hair FUE procedure (Norwood 3 plus some reinforcement in other areas) with Dr. Zioga. The procedure took place in late September 2021 in Athens (she also operates out of London UK). I went with a partially shaven procedure; only the sides and back of my head were shaven. After 10 months, I am thrilled with my results.

I met with a few other clinics prior to my consultation with Dr. Zioga, but after my consult with her, I knew that she was the hair surgeon for me. There is a fee for her consultations, and it is completely worth it: filled with analysis and advice that is beneficial whether or not you go ahead with a procedure. My consult was via Zoom. We talked about nutrition, shampoos and hair products to use/avoid, proper application of Rogain/Regain, Finasteride, etc. She provided an estimate of number of hairs required (she estimates number of hairs, not grafts) based on pictures she requested in advance. I was informed that I was a good candidate.

Patient health and safety is of upmost importance to Dr. Zioga. It was very important to her to establish that I was a good candidate through blood tests, etc. She also analyzed my test results for vitamin and mineral levels. After booking my surgery, Katie (one of her staff) helped me with accommodation recommendations and pre-procedure guidelines, which was great.

When I arrived in Athens for my procedure, I met with Dr. Zioga two days before, for a final consultation. We designed my hairline and finalized the number of hairs. She provided me with a list of medications and supplies to pick up. She also personally wrote me a list of sights to check out and places to eat in Athens before my surgery!

The day of the surgery went as well as any surgery could possibly go. Their first priority was making me feel comfortable- from the selection of music to play, to what I wanted for lunch, to making sure I was at ease.

My surgery went all day long. Dr. Zioga and her technicians were amazing: friendly and cheerful, incredibly professional, and all around lovely people. I was their sole focus all day. Dr. Zioga performed all of the extractions and placement of the grafts herself, with her technicians assisting with microscope work, sorting the grafts, keeping them healthy, loading her transplant tool, etc.

The extraction process was completely pain free. The placement process was mostly pain free, but I did feel a pinch here and there. Dr. Zioga was very conscientious- always checking on me to see if I needed more anesthetic, etc.

My recovery was better than I could have imagined. While I was informed that there could be some swelling and redness, this was not the case for me. Any swelling was undetectable, and any redness was gone after a few days once things healed (not months like you sometimes see in reviews at other clinics). I felt zero pain during recovery, and only a very mild itchiness in my donor area for a couple of days in my first week. I followed the post-op instructions very carefully, which is important if you want the process to go well.

Katie from Dr. Zioga's office followed up with me daily for the first month post-op, and periodically thereafter. I would send her pictures, Dr. Zioga would analyze them, etc. I felt very well cared for. Katie and Dr. Zioga were also very helpful answering my questions through the post-op process in the days and months following the procedure. Katie, thank you so much for your care, attention, and patience. You are amazing and so helpful!

When I got back home from my hair transplant trip, I was able to hide my surgery completely at work (my friends and family knew in advance) and I don't think anyone knew I had something done. I had some shedding (maybe 50% or so?). Things started looking really good after about 5 months. When your hair starts to grow in (at about the 3 month mark) you feel these little "pings" on your head as your new hairs break through. This was incredibly satisfying.

I am now 10 months post-procedure, and I couldn't have asked for better results. My hairline looks full and natural. My barber cannot believe how my hair looks. I have done skin fades in the back or very low guards and the extractions on the donor site are invisible to the untrained eye. On the front, it looks like I was born with my new hair (I often wear my hair brushed back). My confidence has skyrocketed, and I feel like myself again. I get so many compliments on how my hair looks.

I opted to go fairly conservative with the lowering of my hairline, and I may go back at some point to lower it just a tiny bit more (although everyone says I don't need to). If I do, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I will go with Dr. Zioga. She and her team are the absolute best. If you are thinking of getting a hair transplant, you need to talk to Dr. Zioga. Book a consultation, you won't regret it!

Dr. Zioga is definitely one of the best hair transplant surgeons in the world. And this is not an exaggeration. She is not just a doctor that has learned a technique and applies it. She is a true professional but most importantly a pioneer in the field, having developed and perfected a totally undetectable procedure, the unshaven FUE.

Most places will offer a normal FUE where a patient has to shave his whole head and some other clinics will offer a FUE where the patient only has to shave the donor area. In my case, what I wanted was a super discreet procedure, where I could return to work in a week and no one would be able to notice the slightest difference in my hair. And this is exactly what Dr Zioga has delivered!!

Her unshaven FUE technique is a 100% undetectable procedure. I did not have to cut my hair at all before the operation!! The whole procedure not only was completely painless, but the doctor made me feel at ease and comfortable from the first moment till the end. She is an amazing Greek woman, super passionate and driven, who cares deeply about every single client, but most importantly who knows how to deliver the best results.

I recently had a 2nd hair transplant with Dr Zioga in May 2021. My 1st procedure which I had in February 2020 was excellent but I wanted to straighten my hairline further. (My 1st review is also on here) The 2nd procedure was even better than the 1st. I knew exactly what to expect this time and the whole procedure went fantastic. I actually really enjoyed the day. It was more like a day at the spa than having a hair transplant. I am now just over 2 months post procedure. Over half of the implanted hair has shed but this is normal and I am looking forward for the hair to grow back in and my hairline is going to look amazing. Even without all of the new hair growing back yet, it looks so much better already .The 1st procedure made a massive difference to how my hair looked, but this 2nd one with the hairline now straightened out is going to be life changing. I am nearly 50 and my hairline will be back to how it was in my mid 20's when it grows back in. My hair loss had really affected my well being and confidence. If I had not met Dr Zioga I dread to think what state my hairloss would be in now, and how I would be feeling about myself mentally. I cannot Thank Dr Zioga, and her team Andrianna and also Katie (PA who arranges all of Dr Zioga's patients appointments and does most of the aftercare ) enough. You will not get better aftercare or end results anywhere else in the UK. I researched a long time before i chose Dr. Zioga. Her work is so good no one will know you have had anything done, except you will have more hair !!

I have used Dr Ziogga 4 times now as my hair loss as been very gradual over the years, the results have been amazing each time.

After having a number of consultations with well renowned hair restoration surgeons across London, I felt most comfortable with the approach and treatment plan that Dr Zioga had proposed. I got the feeling that her proposal was balanced between doing as much as she could to assist my problems now, whilst providing a natural looking result and not over harvesting my donor area.

That being said, it wasn't until the day of surgery that I realised quite what an expert I had chosen. I was slightly apprehensive, but this was eased within 5 minutes of stepping in the door of the clinic.

The procedure itself genuinely did not hurt at all, at most there was some mild discomfort, but I would say that I experience more pain from general life on a day to day basis than the discomfort I felt throughout the procedure.

The only downside was the recovery process - the first 5 days in involved a lot of downtime and I didn't leave the house much. That being said, within a week it was unnoticeable and I looked normal enough to go out and socialise with friends etc. Vs lower quality clinics, I think this recovery time is pretty impressive!

I am now 1 month post procedure and things seem to be going well so far. I have every confidence that I will get the results I am after!

I would encourage anybody who is considering treatment to book a consultation with Dr Zioga. You will not get the cheapest option on the market, but you get what you pay for...

Having had a transplant before back in 2017 with Dr Zioga which was successful, I had no doubt in my mind to use her again for a second hair transplant. The first one was in my temples and the second one was for my crown predominantly. I had a consultation with Dr Zioga and immediately knew I had made the right choice in using her once again. Dr. Zioga is a very warm and friendly person who you feel at ease with immediately. Her and her team explain how every aspect of the day will go and make the whole experience a pleasant one. It is a long day but through their professionalism, friendly nature and kindness it does not feel long.

Pre-op and after-care support also are excellent. The doctor and Katie (client support) provide the after-care support. Katie will email nearly every day for the first two weeks to review progress and to make sure that you are following the post op procedures. She is always there, replying promptly to any questions or concerns that I had. In summary, you will not find a surgeon who will get you better results. From my prior experience the results are very natural looking and although early in the most recent procedure the early signs are the same. I cannot recommend Dr Zioga and her team highly enough.

I was due to have a consultation at a large Harley Street clinic in late August but was messed around. So instead I contacted Dr Kouremada-Zioga. Honestly I expected starting again would mean another 6 months to wait. But the whole process with Dr Zioga's team was completely refreshing in comparison to the large, faceless, glossily advertised clinics who treat you like a number

I was given an almost immediate mobile consultation, followed by a face-to-face consult with Dr Zioga a week later. I was also asked to undergo a series of blood tests - which Dr Zioga's team organised so it was stress free. This level of thoroughness made me constantly feel the team take the procedure seriously - it after all fairly major surgery. Dr Zioga made me feel immediately at ease when we met. Far from feeling pressured into any decisions, she requested I take a cooling of period to think through all discussed options. We had an honest conversation about my budget and what could be achieved. Dr Zioga understood my budget and we worked together to find a personalised solution. I also felt though that she wasn't prepared to simply take my money unless she felt she could offer a geniunely impressive solution.

6 weeks after my first call to Dr Zioga's team I underwent the procedure at a clinic near baker street. Of course you'll be nervous - and rightly so, this is major scalp surgery. But Dr Zioga's team were brilliant at allaying my nerves. Working with her team in preparation for the procedure, I came with a host of medications (again all easily organised with the doctors team) so from the moment I entered the clinic the team already could help me start my recovery process.

The biggest two things about the procedure day were that firstly Dr Zioga did the whole procedure herself. With two supporting team to count and look after the follicles (and me!). But she did the whole procedure - compare that to many larger clinics where the surgeon will leave some of the extraction to their team.

Secondly - this was a full day. 9 am to 8pm. and at no point did I feel rushed. Even at the very end of a long day, the team waited with me whilst my ride home arrived. Dr Zioga and her team have great rapport between them, and by the end of the day we all felt like firm friends, with flowing conversation - you feel like one of the family.

The big one - does it hurt? 90% not at all. 9% a tiny pinch. 1% okay yes this hurts. The Dr and her team provide plenty of local anaestheti. in 11 hours I probably experienced about 15 minutes of discomfort right at the end of the implantation. But again - this is major surgery to your head! and within 30 minutes post procedure I felt no pain. I didn't have to take a single pain killer through entire recovery process.

Post-operative care is so thorough. This isn't a big clinic where you're turfed out with an aftercare booklet and left to your own devices. I received clear and personalised instructions (for instance I do a lot of gym, so Dr Zioga was very hard on me about ensuring I rested for long enough before recommencing exercise). From 30 minutes after leaving clinic, aftercare begins. It's intense, but the team are with you every day. in fact if you don't send update photos then expect to be chased :).

I had my surgery on a thursday. I had unshaven FUE. I usually have my back and sides shave to 0.5 anyway and I left my top and fringe a little longer than usual after my last haircut before surgery. I was off camera Friday working from home, took the weekend, was off camera monday, and by tuesday lunchtime I was back on camera for work and no-one would know I'd had anything done. By the time I saw my lifelong friends 10 days post surgery they couldn't tell (and they knew!) and 3 weeks post surgery even my parents didn't notice anything. If you can take 1 week off, or if you can work from home for 2 days either side of a weekend then no-one will know any different.

I'm now 7 weeks post surgery. I'd had a lot of shed, and am now looking forward to the 3-4 month mark where new hair should start to grow in.

So I am 6 days post my transplant with Dr Zioga, and I am already so excited about the result that I felt compelled to write a review.
To confirm, this is my second hair transplant with Dr Zioga; financial reasons meant I opted to do a procedure last year (see the results) then do another one this year.
The results of my first procedure were so amazing and I honestly felt as if I may be being greedy to get the second one done. I saw Dr Zioga earlier in the year and she clearly explained what could and could not be done in order to achieve good results - as always there was no pressure and she put my mind at rest that the outcome desired could be achieved.
6 days ago I had the procedure and yet again Dr Zioga and he team have been fantastic all the way through. From sheer professionalism during the procedure (ably assisted by Adrianni as always), to keeping in touch with me throughout the recovery. They,re expecting photos soon so I had better stop writing this! ;-P
Even though I know from experience that the hairs will take a while to grow, I am already super excited about the results as I can feel all of the new hair in place.
I had undertaken alot of research before my transplant and looked at a number of hair surgeons. Despite being biased, it is easy to see why Dr Zioga has the reputation she has, and in my opinion it is about quality over quantity when looking at such a big decision. 9 months after my hair transplant and I literally have no words to describe the results. Absolutely unreal, 100% natural results with amazing fullness and consistency. I honestly couldn't be more satisfied, exceeded my expectations massively.

Having had a transplant before, I did a lot of research before I visited Dr Zioga. But once there, I knew I had to look no further.

The kindest, warmest person who makes you feel at ease instantly. A true professional who will guide you through the process thoroughly and make sure you have a top experience. She conducts the extraction and placement herself as she wants to make sure the result is PERFECT.

I have attended my initial consultation with Dr. Zioga and feel compelled to write a review based on my experience so far. I have come to Dr. Zioga after a very bad hair transplant elsewhere, which left me traumatised with unnatural and aesthetically unpleasant results. From the very first email I wrote, Dr. Zioga and Katie, the Patient Coordinator have been nothing but kind, compassionate, understanding and accommodating. Answering every question and responding imminently to my emails. The consultation itself was wonderful. Dr. Zioga was both warm and kind and I could tell straight away that I was with a Dr. who not only knew her craft but had the perfect approach in securing my trust that she could help me. Whilst my journey moving forward is a little more complex, as I am in need of a corrective procedure, the consultation with Dr. Zioga has given me hope and a solution. I cannot convey with words, how that alone has completely changed my life. I am very much looking forward to having the procedure with Dr. Zioga in the not too distant future and writing another review once the procedure has been done. I recently had a hair Transplant on the 4th of February with Doctor Kouremada Zioga. Let me start by saying I had been researching hair transplant surgery and also different doctors for over 2 years before deciding to go with Dr. Zioga for my procedure. The reason I decided to use Doctor Zioga is because I had not seen any negative reviews, she does most of her work from Harley Street London, as well as working all over the world and the before and after pictures of her work speaks for itself. Also she extracts all the hair from the donor area herself, and does not have someone else doing that part of the procedure, she does EVERYTHING herself from start to finish. She has an assistant Andriana to help her, but all the work is done by Doctor Zioga..This was important to me also that ALL aspects of the work was done by the doctor.

I have read a lot of horror stories about people going abroad to have the work done cheaply, but this is your hair you are messing with and if it goes wrong you will be in a worse position than when you start. There is no way I would be willing to take that risk to save a bit of money, and also you don't even know if your work is actually being done by a real doctor.

I went for the Unshaven method of FUE which is undetectable after 10-12 days once your scabs have healed from where the hair has been implanted. Most of my scabs were gone within 10 days and all were gone by day 14. The donor area shows no trace that anything has been done, even immediately after procedure. This is the option I would recommend if having a hair transplant, yes it is more expensive as it takes longer to do it this way, but there is hardly any downtime.

I was scared to have the procedure done, but after meeting with Dr. Zioga at the end of November for a consultation, I felt a lot better about having the procedure done and knew I had to do it or keep feeling depressed about my hair loss. She put me at total ease about everything and I knew after the consultation she was the Doctor to do my procedure.

The day of the procedure , Doctor Zioga reassured me there was nothing to worry about and she was right, and the procedure itself was absolutely nothing to be scared of ,or worry about. There is NO pain, and if you do feel a little bit of discomfort at any point when the hair is being extracted, Dr Zioga will put a little more anaesthetic into that area and you will not feel any pain at all.
I am now 9 weeks post procedure and I had my hair cut at the back and a little on top about 5 weeks ago(not the recipient area). Where doctor Zioga took the hair from the donor area, even my hairdresser couldn't believe there was no trace of where the extractions had been done. I have my hair cut fairly short at the back and there is no way of telling any hair has been extracted.

Also I have ZERO redness in the recipient area. I have read a lot of stories that people have redness in this area weeks, and sometimes even months after the procedure. I have sensitive skin and was worried about this too, but after the scabs fell off, there was no redness at all. This is also due to the skill of the surgeon.

I followed all the post op care instructions and I won't get my full results for 12 months, but I will start to see the start of results in around 6 months, so will update when my 12 months is up.

Also the after care is fantastic and Katie part of Dr. Zioga's team will message you everyday and if you are unsure about anything or need to ask questions , she will always get back to you quickly. A lot of hair transplant clinics do not give you this after care, and in my opinion, it is very important to have this level of aftercare.
If you are thinking of having a hair Transplant, do your research and always have a consultation with the doctor first face to face. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Zioga and her team. It took me 2 years to do it, and only wished I had done it sooner. You won't find anyone better to do the procedure for you.

I cannot rate Dr Zioga and her team highly enough. They are true professionals, friendly, kind and considerate to my needs. I recently had a shaven FUE procedure with her for just over 5,000 hairs. This was my 2nd transplant - the first several years ago focused on the front of my head, the second was mainly addressing the crown and top of my head, with wider coverage. At my initial appointment, she spoke through the different options available to me. I had no doubt that Dr Zioga was the right surgeon for me and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others. The feedback she has from her patients, and in the newspaper articles about her is exceptional. Katie in her team organised everything so well. On the day itself, I had the extractions done in the morning (after photos and finalising where the hair was to be implanted), then lunch. The implantations were completed in the afternoon whilst I relaxed watching films on Netflix. The procedure wasn't painful and Dr Zioga worked into the evening, thoroughly making sure that everything was just right.

The aftercare was amazing, with daily photos and reviews by Dr Zioga and Katie on how I was getting on. My hair is growing back very quickly. After just over 7 days, anybody would think that I had just had a very short haircut. By day 9 all the scabs were gone. My hair looks fantastic and I look years younger. I know that I am going to be very proud and happy with my hairline for the rest of my life. Thank you so much!
