I had a hair transplant with Dr Kouremada Zioga in London, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with my experience and results.

I travelled all the way from the United States after seeing an incredible result on a friend of mine, and I decided it was worth trusting her expertise — and I’m so glad I did.

From the very beginning, Dr Kouremada Zioga made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my decision. The whole process was handled with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. I always felt I was in very capable hands.

The result is absolutely outstanding and looks incredibly natural — which is extremely important for me as an actor, where appearance plays a major role in my career. It has genuinely exceeded my expectations.

In 2017 I'd suffered a really poor experience and end result with another hair transplant provider.
I'd initially been drawn in by the cheap price that was being offered.
I'd been desperate to have a hair transplant due to my hair receding along my hairline and thinning within the crown area and thought that this was the answer to my problems. Unfortunately this would later turn out to be something I'd regret. After 18 months, the end results to both my hairline and crown looked poor and unnatural and I'd been left feeling extremely low about the experience I'd had and the situation I'd been left with.

In 2019 I decided that I had to do something to correct the problem I'd been left with and after a huge amount of research I decided to book an appointment to see Dr Kouremada Zioga.

My research had told me that Dr Zioga was a leading expert in the world of hair transplants and I can honestly say that this has been my experience of Dr Zioga from the moment I first met her.

The first thing that stuck me in the first meeting with Dr Zioga was the empathy and care shown about my previous experience and the result I'd been left with. Dr Zioga took time to understand what I'd like to achieve from any future hair transplant and clearly talked through the results I could expect to see from any future procedure that she would perform.

On leaving that first appointment with Dr Zioga, I knew that I'd made the right choice and shortly after booked to have a hair transplant procedure to my front of scalp area and hair line.
Prior to having the procedure, I was informed that I'd needed to undergo a number of health tests and that any procedure would only take place if I was fit and well for it to go ahead. The test would also evaluate anything that could effect the successful outcome of the hair transplant, so that appropriate action could be taken be taken to correct this if needed. All of this just further endorsed that I made the right choice in choosing Dr Zioga, as the most important thing to her was the safety of her patients.

Once all of the health checks had been completed I went on to have my first hair transplant by Dr Zioga to the front of my scalp and I can truly and honestly say that the experience from start to finish, along with the end result was exceptional.

Moving on to 2025, I'd suffered some further hair loss around my crown area. I decided to have a further hair transplant to correct this and given my previous experience the only person I'd trust to perform this was Dr Zioga.

After arranging a consultation with Dr Zioga I decided to proceed with an unshaven hair transplant of 5500 hairs to my crown area and this was completed at the start of May 2025.
The procedure took around 9 hours to complete with a 45 minute break for something to eat and drink.
The entire procedure was completed by Dr Zioga and was pretty much pain free. The hardest bit was lying still for so long ,but you are constantly asked if you are okay or want a break. Dr Zioga continually updates you on how things are going throughout the whole time the procedure taking place.

At the end of the day Dr Zioga talked through the post operation instructions along with the medication I needed to take, ensuring that I fully understand everything prior to leaving.

On the weeks that followed I had daily contact with Dr Zioga and Katie from Dr Zioga's team, who constantly checked in with me to see how things were going. I also had to provide daily photo's of both the donor and recipient area so that they could see the progress being made.

With the procedure having only taken place in May it's too early to see the end result, but based on my previous experience I have total confidence that it will be everything I wished for.

The lesson I've taken from my whole hair transplant journey is that you get what you pay for and this lesson is taken from the poor experience I had with the first hair transplant provider, compared to the exceptional experience I've had with Dr Zioga and her team.

I'd have no hesitation in recommending Dr Zioga to anyone considering a hair transplant in the future.

I recently had my second hair transplant with Dr. Thomy Kouremada-Zioga, and once again, I couldn’t be happier with the experience and results. My first transplant was 10 years ago to restore a large section at the front, and I returned to Dr. Zioga to address my thinning crown—this time, around 6,500 hairs were transplanted.

What truly impressed me was the aftercare. For months following the procedure, she remained closely involved, guiding me through everything from how to wash my hair, what to eat, how to manage exercise and sun exposure, and regularly reviewing progress photos. Every detail was considered to give me the best possible outcome.

I’m now three months post-op and beginning to see early signs of growth. I know the full results will take another nine months or so, but based on my past experience and the quality of care I’ve received again, I’m incredibly optimistic.

I can’t recommend Dr. Zioga enough—if you’re considering a hair transplant, she’s the person to trust.

I had my unshaven treatment at the beginning of October so only around six weeks ago and there is no way to see I have had a transplant. I had a hair transplant with Dr Zioga to rebuild my hairline and hair density in the frontal region. I am now roughly 18 months post procedure and absolutely delighted with the experience and results.

As a successful user of hair loss medications (minoxidil and finasteride) I had considered for several years undergoing a hair transplant to correct the frontal area which had deteriorated too far prior to starting medication. My principal concern for undertaking a procedure was the prospect of shaving my head, which would not be practical both from a work and social perspective. I then found Dr Zioga’s website and everything changed. A surgeon that I was already aware of, with a clear and proven track record of quality results and a pioneer of unshaven FUE. The opportunity to undertake a procedure discretely with a top surgeon meant a hair transplant was now a no brainer.

Having sent photos and a background of my case to Dr Zioga, I was invited to attend a consultation which was excellent. Dr Zioga quickly understood my case and clearly explained the potential solutions available and designed a restored hairline. I also received some really useful information and advice in relation to my hair loss and how to use medications even more effectively.

I had to undertake various blood tests prior to the procedure to ensure my hair loss was not being influenced by vitamin deficiencies or other medical issues. I would recommend using the clinic advised by Dr Zioga as it is more efficient and ensures all the correct tests are obtained.

My procedure involved moving 5,000 hairs and therefore was a long day (9am to 9.30pm), but the experience was excellent and stress free. Dr Zioga and her team made me always feel at ease and clearly explained all stages of the day. Post procedure the aftercare support is excellent. Dr Zioga’s patient co-ordinator Katie is always on hand to answer questions and ensure that the aftercare is performed correctly. It is intense due to having to spray the recipient area every 30 minutes. Due to this I would recommend taking 5 days off work for the procedure.

My procedure combined micro FUE and unshaven FUE, with layers shaved in the donor area for the micro FUE. After 5 days of spraying I could wash my hair and let it dry naturally. I was amazed at how discreet the procedure was. The recipient area was very clean with minimal redness and no swelling. My existing hair simply dropped back over the recipient area as it always had done and therefore I looked as I did pre-procedure. The layer shaving was also barely visible with dry hair. After just over a week I attended work with some colleagues who had no idea I’d had anything done. I saw certain family members (who did not know about the procedure) two weeks post procedure and they had no idea. It really is that discreet.

The transplanted hairs developed steadily over the first 6 months, but progress accelerated particularly during the second 6 months. I also feel that there is tangible development in density and strength of the transplanted hairs between 12 and 18 months.

I am absolutely delighted with the results, which are completely natural. If you want to keep your procedure discreet with minimal downtime and high quality results, I couldn’t recommend Dr Zioga enough.
