Driver was very considerate and and thoughtful enough to reposition the taxi so I could enter on the ramp with less steep nut and grade. Thinking outside of the box was quite oppressive. He was very knowledgeable and informing us about the London area and traditions and pointed out certain things along the ride back to Heathrow.

I'm from the U.S. and had a medical appointment at a clinic in Hove. Not knowing that Hove is more than an hour away from London, I booked my flight into Heathrow and booked a hotel in London. In retrospect, Gatwick would have been a much better choice.

So, I was faced with a dilemma on how to actually get to my appointment on time. I received directions from the clinic staff, which involved taking trains and then a cab, which seemed very intimidating, especially since I would be traveling alone. I figured I would take a cab all the way, but then I found info online that cabs don't necessarily have to agree to take you that far.

Just as I was starting to panic, since I had booked non-refundable flights, I found London Black Taxi. From the moment I saw the responses to the reviews on TrustPilot and Leigh's picture on their website, I knew I could trust this company.

They have a useful fare calculation tool on their website, so their pricing is readily available upfront. I finalized the booking with Leigh and she was great to communicate with. My actual driver on the day of the appointment was Nicky. He showed up early and waited for me. He was such a great driver and was so nice and friendly. I had a great time chatting with him on the long trip to Hove and back.

Finding a cab that is both easily accessible to a wheelchair and can transport 4 adults and luggage was not easy. London Black Taxi provided the perfect solution.

I was pleased with the website and followed booking directions carefully. I was happy to see pay with card on the day. However I had mail from them changing the payment terms and amount( increase). I understand they have been cheated but I mentioned the website was not correct and should be changed. I understand they are good but the website isnt

Leigh did an excellent job driving my daughter to her wedding ceremony in central London, and then transporting bride and groom to photo shoot and reception. He arrived in plenty of time, was calm and very pleasant to deal with. The car looked smart with the white ribbon. Thank you Leigh!

Booking the airport transfer was easy and confirmation was quick. On arrival, Leigh called to confirm the driver was at the meeting point and also received a what’s app from the driver. We also booked the return trip. Both times drivers were on time and it’s just a hassle free ride. Many thanks.

I use these guys all the time I need to go to a airport or further afield, friendly, professional, reliable , punctual service , I've used many other's before these guys & that says it all , these are 100% the best, wish I found them earlier & not wasted my time/money on other shoddy firms

Just caught a taxi from central London Oxford St. The taxi driver when we asked how much the fare would be told us to jump in fast then he said it would be between 30 & 40 pounds depending on traffic to Golders green. We were in the cab 4 minutes and the price was nearly ten pounds. We calculated that it would take about 25 minutes. I said to the taxi driver ,this isn't going to cost more than 40 pounds right then he said he couldnt guarantee the price. So we changed the address to my daughters boyfriends place which is in Tufnel park which is ten minutes closer. The meter was at 24 pounds when we stopped. There was a card reader in the back seat and I thought I had to scan there but he said no, you scan this one instead which he had a hold of in his hand. We get inside the house I checked my bankcard and he scammed me by 4 pounds. Charging 28 instead of 24 pounds. I will never catch a black cab again. The ubers dont scam you and are way cheaper. It cost 15 pounds to go from Golders Green to China town. Big difference in price and no scamming.

Booked for 3:30 two hour ride around around London offered to pay deposit was told no, do it on the day. Confirmed the day before and the day of travel. Receive a message cancelling the booking 2 h before our booking as missed a call. Ruined our first time in London as a family and was unable to book on a bus tour. Avoid this firm.

It was a great pleasure working with Leigh for my latest short film. He was very punctual, and very fast and calm and very professional. I highly recommend working with him for taxi service and for film or events.

London Black Taxi was super-easy to deal with. Leigh was so helpful and quick to respond to all the many questions I asked him!
