NEVER AGAIN

It is cheaper to buy directly from the venue if you can. Also, they don't show you what you are going to pay, you see it after they rip you off. Never again.

UPDATE ON 03/06/2024

First of all I strongly advise you to stop wasting your paid subscription only to leave a non reply to people's reviews like the one you just left to me after 5 months.

Since you are telling me the story of people damaging your reputation as you are the victim of a slandering campaign I need to explain you that that would be the case only if peole lie about you. Please highlight what part my review contains a lie.

Regarding Trustpilot forcing you to pay an expensive subscription I strongly advise you to go via legal means. The way you describe it sounds very similar to extortion. Although on my side I leave reviews for free.

And regarding Feefo I don't understand why the same review I have left in here would have obtained a different reply from you since you have replied and clearly have nothing to say.

I stronlgy advise you to not to rip off people in order to not having bad reviews at all.

Hello,

First of all, I would like to emphasize that the reviews left on Truspilot should be taken with caution.

Indeed, mainly unhappy customers relieve themselves on this platform and truspilot uses these reviews to damage the reputation of our company.

This tactic is implemented by trustpilot to force us to subscribe to a subscription of between £250 euros to £700 per month in order to be able to offer all our customers the opportunity to review our services and thus dilute bad reviews and give a better image more representative of the quality of our services.

To have a reliable opinion of the quality of our company, we invite you to go to Feefo, a competing and cheaper platform which lists all the reviews, good or bad, that we receive every day.

All the best,

Appalling company

Appalling company, I allegedly booked 2 x tickets for Cabaret on 30.12.23 and when I paid on my debit card, there was an "issue" withe the alleged secure payment window. I thought the financial transaction had failed so tried to book again but couldn't even get back to booking page. However when I checked my bank account, the payment was (still is shown) "pending." I tried to telephone (all lines inoperable as all allegedly "working from home") so was unable to get to speak to a person. Received an email from London Box Office today with another link to book tickets so I tried to re book seats M15 & M16 (knowing I'd already booked and paid for these) and a pop up stated "these seats are no longer available" and there were no other seats available at a similar price, but conveniently (coincidence, I think not) only more expensive seats were available. This company is shoddy and I have been scammed out of a lot of money purchasing two non existent/unavailable seats; despite the seating plan showing the availability of seats M15 & M16! I will NEVER use this company again and on my bank statement, the transaction for the tickets are shown as being payable to a company called "Encore Tickets" so I think these 2 companies are in cahoots to fleece unsuspecting theatre goers.

Hello,

Thanks a lot for taking the time to leave a review.

Unfortunately, your transaction has been flagged as highly suspicious by our Credit Card Authorisation provider which is why it was declined. Again, I'm really sorry that this has happened but rest assured the money will back on your account shortly if it has not already.

As explained to you already, I can confirm that this hasn't moved to a Charged status.

This means that the payment process began but unfortunately wasn't able to complete - this can be down to a variety of reasons. You will see a pending payment on your statement for a period of time determined by your provider, whilst the funds are set aside to be processed by the merchant (us). We do not take action to secure payments that didn't successfully complete meaning the funds will be available in your account again once the determined period has passed.

To confirm, there is no booking attached to the pending payment. We know it's frustrating that these funds are now unavailable to you but please trust that these will drop back into your account soon. Most banks provide more detail about their pending payment processes online should you wish to look into it further.

All the best,

I live in Perth

I live in Perth, Western Australia and I am travelling with my family in December. Booking for a show in London was as easy as doing it here in Perth. So easy!

It is cheaper to buy directly from the theatre website

The London Box office website is very easy to use. Unfortunately, I just spent an extra £40 on the same four seats (£260) by buying from the London Box Office website. The same seats would only cost £220 if I buy directly from the Dominion Theatre website.

Easy to navigate, except . . .

The site was very easy to navigate. However, it said that if there were issues that needed to be addresses one should contact the site. There was no way to do this, other than through the existing questions. I am hard of hearing (have documentation to that effect) and would like to have been able to find out if there were concessions for the hard of hearing. i'm at the end of the front row. I might have been able to obtain a better ticket in a row that would have been more comfortable for me, but try as I might, I could find no way to deal with my issue on that website.
Thank you.
