Visited the London eye today we really…think more effort should be made to sanitise before and after pod change overs
Visited the London eye today we really enjoyed the views but noticed just before leaving our pod the staff to busy laughing and joking whilst one was meant to be sanitising before it was occupied by more members of the public, he basically ran with a cloth and a spray bottle this surely can’t be called cleaning, another member of staff walked from the top of the banister to the bottom of the banister without spraying or even attempting to clean or sanitise. Surely whilst in the middle of a pandemic this should be done with more effort and not just a money making scheme. Also very little policing on mask wearing even though you are crammed into a pod with about 20 people most who didn’t wear a mask.
Shoddy customer care
Our son recently hired a private pod in order to propose to his partner . Neither sets of parents could be there and I sent several emails asking if there was anyway wine and chocolates could be added . I was willing to pay .I even asked if the items could be given to them as they exited the pod after the ride . On each occasion I received a NO. Covid was quoted on each response and staff restrictions . No extra staff where required a host was not necessary just wanted to make the occasion that bit special . I am astounded that considering the cost and the fact this was a Special event the Lomdoneye could do nothing so assist us I feel this is a really shoddy approach to customer relations and would not recommend to others .
MULTI-TICKET SCAM!
MULTI-TICKET SCAM!
Like others... Bought a multi ticket for London Eye and river cruise at a specific date/time. Once bought only the cruise time was set, the London Eye booking had to be 'modified'. This is when I found that there was no availability for the next 5 days, even though there was availability when checking their website for a new booking. No Refunds available!
Shocking that all attraction times can't be booked when placing the order and I can only presume that this is a ploy to get more revenue from unsuspecting tourists... Judging by the number of reviews concerning this issue.

DO NOT BUY MULTI TICKET - NOT WORTH THE HASSLE
As per previous reviews, make sure you steer well clear of buying tickets for multiple attractions if you are time bound for the same day. When booking you can only reserve your time slot for the London Eye. In our case we bought 3 tickets for The London Eye and Sealife for the 11th September. Only after taking my money, and then attempting to book Sealife for the same day, was I made aware there was no availability for 11th September for Sealife. This is, at best a real flaw in the system, or at worst disingenuous mis-selling, especially as no refund for the now worthless ticket is offered. I have tried calling, number constantly engaged, and have emailed, no reply. I’m now attempting to get a refund through my credit card company, as London Eye are not able to offer the service that I have paid them for. I hope others read this review before making the same mistake I did.

Buy two attractions option is very deceiving and such a bad idea, causing so many problems to people. You buy two tickets for two different attractions which seems to be cheaper, but it is not worthy the hassle, because they only book a time slot for one of the attraction and you will need to contact them to book a time slot for the second one. What’s happen if they don’t have slop after you bought the ticket? People assume it would book automatically for both when you buy the tickets and this is causing so many problems. Shame on you to make so confuse and my advise buy tickets for different attractions separately to avoid stress and missing out the attractions and waste your time.

Combo ticket scam
Combo ticket scam. Thats the reason they don't let you check the dates for the second activity.
Unfortunately the ticket office couldn't find any tickets
I bought tickets for my wife but didn't receive and email confirmation. My wife and two kids went to the attraction before the booked time to ask the ticket office for advice. Unfortunately the ticket office couldn't find any tickets with our email address, names, address or credit card that was used for payment. They said to contact customer service by email and to buy new tickets. They ended up not buying more tickets and leaving the attraction disappointed. I contacted the customer service which took a week to respond to my query. They asked for the last four digits of my card and the date it was purchased which I sent them. A week later they replied again saying they found the transaction and have resent the tickets. What use are they to us now? We're back in Scotland now with no plans of going back. How could the ticket office not find the tickets? Looks like they have a policy not to refund and I'll be waiting another week for a reply from them to find out. Most likely I'll have to get the credit card to initiate a charge back. Very poor customer service on their part.
Worth a visit but could be better
Amazing tourist attraction.
Would be much better if they had a commentary explaining what your able to see ect.
We had disabled tickets and weren't told until at the front of the queue we should of used the fast track entrance.

DON’T PANIC !
DON’T PANIC!
Having booked a multi ticket for the London Eye & Dungeons I found myself in a similar position to others on here .Date and time booked for London Eye, payment taken then directed to a portal to book Dungeons to find no dates and times available for our stay in London.
I contacted Last minute.com London Eye via their website chat forum but unfortunately no resolution offered . I then found and read the reviews below regarding a similar experience and was very concerned. HOWEVER THIS IS NOT A SCAM
Upon arrival at London Eye for our slot I spoke to a representative in their ticket office who immediately contacted a member of their customer service team. They were extremely helpful and immediately assured us that they would refund the Dungeon or change to an alternative attraction.
IMPORTANT! They recommend you do not use any part of your ticket and go to the ticket office to resolve . Using any part of you ticket is a more complicated process but they will still resolve .

Disappointed. DO NOT BUY COMBINED TICKETS.
I am really very disappointed with my experience. Myself, my sister and her children had one day to visit London. After looking around, we decided we would have time for The London Eye and London Dungeon combined tickets. I checked the London Dungeon website for their availability on the day prior to booking, as it does not allow you to do so when booking the combined tickets, and there was almost full availability. After choosing my London Eye slot and paying the fee, the website and email I received directed me to now book my London Dungeon slot. Lo and behold, once I got through to this stage, the website said there was no availability! Rather disappointed, I contacted the customer services team to ask if there was anything I could do, swap to another attraction or reserve one of the many free slots on The Dungeon's website. Categorically no to both. I then asked if there was availability on the day, could we walk in with our tickets. Also categorically not. The company get away by saying they give you 90 days to use the tickets, however it is costing us £100 to travel down, and we have already spent our budget on these combined tickets. What I don't understand is why it is not stated clearly which days are fully booked before you part with your money. Yes it did say availability was limited, but I had checked the website for the Dungeon and it showed a multitude of slots. Unfortunately, this company will never lose out because it is necessary to book through them for most of the big attractions. My advice would be do not book the combined tickets, or at least contact someone and check availability before you do, unless you can afford multiple trips to London.
Misleading, Scamming and Disappointing.
Misleading booking for combination tickets. My 12 year old sister was extremely excited to be able to go to the London eye and the dungeons, but thanks to a very misleading and practically scamming system the date we chose was no longer available when we had to ‘modify’ our booking. Talking to advisors did nothing for our case and simply told us there wasn’t anything we can do but book within a 90 day timeframe. We still wanted to go on the London eye but asked if there was a possibility to change the combination tickets to single or even transfer it for another attraction. No.
More transparency and clearer booking instructions would’ve saved this hassle, and my money, but sadly this is not the case. I will not be using this service again and will be advising people to not use it in the future to save themselves the heartache I have had.
Truly disappointed.
What a view!
It's been a long time since I visited but loved it when I did. The queue was a little long but well worth it for the view! I'll be in London on August (fingers crossed) and will certainly be back!
