Delayed yet again. I catch London Midland trains twice a day, five days a week and half the time they're either delayed or cancelled. What's the point of paying an extortionate amount for a monthly ti... See more

Just count how many you say sorry…
Just count how many time you say sorry because your train are late. Disgusting your train service. I don’t know how you get permission to run train. Shame on you I don’t think you have any shame. I can’t remember when I ride your train and it was on time because you always late.
Always always always delayed or…
Always always always delayed or cancelled, especially in the mornings. I aim for the earlier train now because it's so rare for my usual train to be on time, which makes me late for work. even the earlier train is mostly delayed so actually it doesn't make that much difference timewise. Didn't used to be like this. Cheaper tenders/contracts = you get what you pay for.
Frequent delays and awful experiences
The service has been bad. I am a frequent train user. I bought a 9.38am train to london euston and when I reached the train station, the train was cancelled due to staff shortage according to what I was informed, and I was advised to take the 10.38am train. And I took the 10.38am train which was then delayed at a station for about 30 mins. I think this is unacceptable and intolerable. Train is fully packed, no refreshments whatsoever. Awful experiences.
Trains are heavily delayed
Trains are heavily delayed, which the company gives no compensation for, but are quick to fine customers who have accidentally sat in the wrong seat. I sat in the wrong seat as I was focused on sending an email to my client to notify them of the delay on my train service. After acknowledging I was in the wrong seat, I tried to move before the train had departed. The officer blocked my attempt to change seats and gave me a penalty notice, claiming that once I've sat down, I have to pay the fine for being in the wrong seat. I believe that it's easy for the train company to ignore their mistakes (train delays) but are quick to fine customers for their mistakes. Pathetic customer service.

I get a west midlands train forn lichfield to birmingham 5 days a week. I think its been over a month since 've got a train that has arrived on time.
Trains are continuously delayed and…
Trains are continuously delayed and services run infrequently. It’s like they plan the timetables so that you have no chance of making your connection train. Utterly terrible. Use a bus if you can, or better yet, never try to visit the Midlands.

15/7/18 Dumped an entire (overloaded) train of passengers at milton keynes. Only a handful of passengers actually wanted Milton Keynes! without any offers of help to get to our onward destinations. On an already delayed train we were stuck at an unfamiliar station unsure of how to get home.
Not a pleasant experience!
Return trip today from Lichfield to London Euston.
Outward to London in economy seats was a reasonably comfortable experience although train in general was rather worn and a bit shabby.
Return trip in first class was a far from pleasant experience. Cabin was even more worn and not particularly clean but worse thing was the insufferable heat. There appeared to be air-conditioning grills but no air from them. Felt as if we were sat in a greenhouse. Many occupants of the cabin were intermittently fanning themselves with newspapers, tickets or basically anything they could get their hands on.
Paid less than for a Virgin Trains ticket but will think twice about using this provider again.
Pathetic London Midland, I've never encountered a worse company
On a trip to France I bought a return train ticket from Worcester to Birmingham International. When returning, I realised that my return ticket was in my suitcase that MyTrip.com had left in Paris. The station guard told me that I could buy a second ticket and reclaim it back. I claimed and my reply was;-
"I am sorry to learn that you were not able to make use of the return portion of your ticket. I regret that we are not able to offer a refund of the replacement ticket purchased, as this has been used for travel. Additionally, we are not able to consider a refund of the return portion of the original ticket (£8.45), as this is less than the administration fee of £10.00 applicable to refunds of unused tickets."
'm 65, and I've never experienced worst customer service ever. I would like my £8.65p back. I don't use trains much but the few times that I have there's always been complaints I've read. There's something about the reply to me that just takes the biscuit. My heart goes out to regular train goers with on-going problems. My score for London Midland is minus 10.
More carriages during peak time, especially Friday.
London Midland is now West Midlands railway. Millions of pound will be invested for new trains when actually a good way to look after customers is to give them a seat on a train journey London to Tamworth or viceversa. The corridors when you catch a train in London between 3 and 7pm Monday to Friday are packed. Friday experience can be compared to animals packed to go to slaughter! The corridors are so packed with people standing or sitting on the floor that you can’t even use the toilets. Maybe new trains are more sustainable but clean carriages would be a good start and most importantly more carriages at peak time are indispensable.
Absolutely dismal service as is…
Absolutely dismal service as is normally the case with this bunch of money grabbing greedy b******s. Boarded the train at Tamworth to travel to Euston during peak time only to find they have put 4 carriages on. I suffer with serious back pain and was heading to meeting in the Doc Lands which had to be cancelled as my sciatica was causing me real problems with having to stand for so long. I will be complaining directly to the train services but I seriously warn you against this company if you have any issues caused by prolonged standing.
Milton Keynes to Bedford
I’ve been using Milton Keynes to Bedford for about 2 months now. In January a driver was ill hence the morning train was cancelled, this mean I had to use taxi service so I can arrive to work on time. I’ve called west midland about compensation and I can claim back my journey fee which is about £4 as I buy seasonal ticket.
The second time was yesterday, there was a small problem with the train from Milton Keynes to Bletchley which the train arrived 7:30. And the interchange train to bedford leaves Bletchley at 7:31. There are around 10-15 people who travels like me every morning to bedford just watched the train leave us all standing as we arrived and the train leaving the station to Bedford. The next train is 8:22 this means I can get to work late or pay for another taxi. Surely the train driver can wait 2 minuets for us to walk from platform 3 to platform 6. Very unreliable service. Staffs have no consideration for their costumers/ passengers. Avoid if you can find other way to get to Bedford. Paul
Their license should really be taken as this is just not acceptable
taken this for a month now and it was delayed 20 times.. the are delayed and they do not truthfully tell you how much by as i have an option to take a slower train and once the sower train goes the train is delayed even further.. so many times it had been the case that the slower train would have been much better.. really sucks.. Their license should really be taken as this is just not acceptable
Why is there a no star rating
Why is there a no star rating? This bunch of. Morons deserve it if no one else does. Train cancelled and their remote help system doesn't connect to anyone. Totally worthless.
Despicable nasty company on the “1752” …
Despicable nasty company on the “1752” from Droitwich takes a few minutes to WORCESTER. Now 1827 nowhere near and they did an announcement so quietly no one can hear. At Droitwich heard a customer asking them on their tanoy when train coming other way gets in. Idiot on end just said can’t say. They don’t come communicate when delays happen. They often do seats filthy so are toilets truly vile company. Just in it to rip you off and give zero help
Worst train service ever
Again from a previous comment, if I could give this service a minus 5* I would, I have to take this train for work every day and I have never had a decent journey, every day the trains are delayed, there are never enough carriages and the trains always have faults, if there is a chance you can get another train line or service take it, do not pay for this service.
I wish I could put zero stars but have …
I wish I could put zero stars but have to put one. Worst train operator ever. I get this train every day and it is always late. In the last 3 weeks it’s been at least 12 minuets late very journey. When it gets later than that they ‘cancel’ that train and the next one (the one it was) shows as arriving at a new time, usually 15 minutes later than it should have been. At the end of each line the crew wonder round like they have all day, no rush to get a move on and make up time - they clearly couldn’t care less!
If I had anything good to say about …
If I had anything good to say about them I'd say it. Their service is a lottery and when things go wrong (as they frequently do) passengers are basically abandoned. Indeed I think they treat passengers with utter contempt. Some of the the trains feel like they are about to fall to bits and others have a shockingly bad ride quality. And they have the nerve to charge for it all, they're a disgrace.
Never again.
Paid over the top for a trip down to London. Ended up standing both ways. Delayed on return. Really uncomfortable experience. The car or Virgin next time.
