Consistently abysmal service
Consistently abysmal service on the Cross City Line (Lichfield to Redditch), and I only travel three stops! I honestly cannot remember when a peak time train was on time. The carriages are always overcrowded at peak times, to the extent where I am sure that there are health & safety risks, who knows what would happen in an emergency. And the 'leaf fall' timetable is shambolic; it is supposed to increase efficiency during Autumn yet all it appears to do is disrupt the service even more than normal. I would honestly be ashamed and embarrassed if I were CEO. Thank goodness they are being taken over in December, you will not be missed...

What's the point of paying an extortionate amount for a monthly ticket when I can't regularly reach my destination on time? Absolutely ridiculous. Glad your contract's up soon, maybe then I can actually start getting places on time.
Worst train service I've ever seen in …
Worst train service I've ever seen in Europe. And their prices are like they are giving the most luxurious service. London midland Trains are often delayed and the speed is super bad.. it's like we are living in the 90's. I wish there were Virgin trains from Euston to Watford
Utter disgrace
I have to suffer LM five days per week commuting to/from Northampton to/from Birmingham.In roughly 1,500 trips,1over 1,200 have been fraught with massive problems,all caused by themselves. I unashamedly believe every one of their so-called employees deserves to die of cancer,they have no regard at all for the welfare of passengers.Any time a fatality occurs on the line,I hope it is a member of their rude,corrupt,incompetent,racist staff.I could tell you a thousand stories of severely bad experiences but you already know the sorts of things.They are allowed to break contract law with utter impunity, supported by brown tonguing MPs who should be put in gas ovens.
Bad service - extremely high price
Very bad service for unreasonably high price. Almost every day we experience delays and, having paid for my ticket almost £600, I have to run to the platform and pray that today I get a seat! Platforms are announced the last minute and I, tired after work, have to run sweating down to the platform! The price absolutely doesn't correspond the poor quality of this service. Very disappointed and annoyed.

Rubbish service practically everyday and very expensive.
Late trains, no seats, stuffy and hot carriages. I wish I did not have to use this service everyday. I am late coming home from work nearly everyday and there's rarely ever an explanation for why this is! Currently the train is stationary in the middle of nowhere, why?! When will I get home?!
A company of incompetence
If you want a service that is delayed every single day without failure, and one where you're lucky if your train ever turns up at all then this is the company for you.
I really don't understand the poor …
I really don't understand the poor reviews, I regularly get the Crewe to London service about 12 times a month, never had any issues regarding the company besides now food cart or some trains have no plugs.
Staff have always been friendly, free on board WiFi allows me to stream films, the ticket prices are very reasonable, trains are always clean, the toilets sometimes are messy but that's a rare occasion.
Overall extremely great value for money.

Currently on a train from London Euston to crewe, however they decide to cancel the last end of the service so it doesn't stop at your required destination. They give the customers about 1 minute to make a decision on weather to get off the train or not, not enough time for me to collect my luggage. Train now stopped on the tracks not moving, hence making me arrived about 2 hours late to my destination! What a joke

where do i start the continually delayed trains, rude and arrogant staff roll on december when your contract is up might even throw a party i can go on about my dislikes about LM but sadly would be here all day
Absolutely awful service
Absolutely awful service. I honestly think it's most terrible and unreliable train service provider in UK. I used to use them because of my work about 4 times a week. I never seen so many delayes and cancellations in my life. 90% of the time i was always late because of it. If i could i would give them 0 stars. Just awful. Im now taking Virgin Trains and couldnt be happier!!

I purchased three tickets from Wylde green station to Birmingham New street and returning home at the end of the day I put my ticket through the ticket barrier to go through and wouldn't open, the ticket officer said they are off peak tickets and if you want to travel now you will have to pay the difference at the ticket office I thought WHAT I never even asked for an off peak ticket so at the ticket office I was told I would have to pay £3.50 extra to travel before 6pm I told the man at the ticket office that I didn't know it was a off peak ticket then he replied I know they should tell you that but they don't always so anyway he said do you want to travel before 6pm and pay the £3.50 or wait until the off peak time well I thought I'm not paying nearly £4.00 especially as I wasn't advised that I'd had a off peak ticket so I waited until 6pm exactly an hour hanging about with my two daughters. I think they need extra training when selling the tickets they need to ask weather an peak or off peak ticket is needed. Poor communication skills I'm afraid !
Unreasonable money grabbers.
Cancelled the train and wouldn't offer any alternative means of transport. Had to travel the next morning and when I arrived to do so I was told to get a new (now peak rate) ticket, at a cost of £60 on top of the initial £70 return fare. They refuse to give me my money back even though Transport Focus agreed they were being unreasonable.
Never simple....
Never have a simple experience with London Midland. Trains are always delayed for insane reasons such as "a member of train crew being unavailable". Then shortly afterwards the trains often get cancelled, which presumably is done to save themselves the fine from running a late service.
