Ordering from the website was easy and delivery prompt. Amabuki Banana Yeast Nama Junmai Daiginjo was very enjoyable, slightly sweet but not too much, with notes of banana and walnuts.

No response at all!!!

Ordered a bottle of sake on 24th September (order number 11396). The sake was never delivered and I got a message from DPD saying the parcel can no longer be delivered on the 3rd of October (tracking benumbed 1597 6978 943 726). Since then have emailed London Sake three times and got no reposne. Is this how your deal with situations?

Great service

Quick response to an inquiry I made about an urgent delivery and the shipment was made as soon as I placed the order and received the bottles the next day.

Quick response and turnaround

I needed about 20 bottles as gifts quite urgently and got in touch. They got back to me very quickly and managed to get this shipped and delivered to me right when I wanted them. Well packed and I think the information provided on the website was great, would definitely order again from them

First rate delivery

First rate delivery. From order to delivery was less than 4 days. Great experience with the variety of flavours. Just a tad expensive I'd think. Otherwise, great quality. Enough for 2 to 4 people to sample.

The most atrocious order processing I…

The most atrocious order processing I have ever experienced from a Webshop. I’m writing this after being prompted to write a review and I still haven’t even received the product I ordered (a premium sake from the website also being forced to pay a next day delivery fee too)!

I placed an order and was told it would be shipped on 19 August due to their summer closure, on 21 August I received a notification it had been prepared and after checking in with London Sake was notified that the order pick-up by DPD was being delayed further. 2 days later, on 23 August I was finally notified of next day delivery and today, 24 August after being notified it was coming at 11:18-12:18 it is still not here at 19:47. After tracking the delivery driver circling around 2 neighbouring towns (each 30mins away) for most of the afternoon, I now see that he couldn’t find our address. Absolutely shocking and no apology or follow up from London Sake.

I wouldn’t trust their service ever again.

Total lack of customer support

This is my second purchase. The first transaction was trouble free and the recipient was delighted. Hence my return. Delivery is not the quickest so I was not aware of non delivery until the request for a review arrived. Apparently Parcelforce had taken it to a Post Office but not left a card. Interestingly the video doorbell did not show a delivery had been attempted and the house was attended. Despite many emails, no telephone number could be found, no response has been received. Eventually, thanks to a chatbot, the location of the parcel was found and the discovery that the parcel had not yet been returned to sender. The Post Office have arranged to hold the parcel until we can collect. All of this without any response from London Sake!!!!

Perfect 😊

I love the flavour. I loved the way everything was packed and the instructions about how to store it, they were really helpful because I have no idea about it. I never tried sake before and now, so far, I am having a little bit with every meal. Thank you so much 😊
