I ordered a delivery

I ordered a delivery, was waiting for it??? Never came. They had the balls to take out my money from my account. Now I have to waist my time to rectify the issue. What a joke!!!

Rude cashier @ Etobicoke Ponytrail Location

I am a regular shopper at Longo's Ponytrail for more than 15 years. Their products are always fresh with good customer service so I love this location. Most of cashiers are nice, friendly and very professional.

However, today this cashier with short hair named Sally, who was at cashier today, 9/17 around 5pm, her service was unacceptable and rude. No hi, no thank you, no bye, i had to pack some stuff myself. She even threw (she literally threw it) the receipt at me in the end. Very frustrating and i m actually shocked to see someone who is so rude with no customer service skills has been working at Longo's as i never had that kind of experience and treatment before at Longo's.

I already shared this on google review. I don't write this kind of negative reviews nor send complaint letters but today's treatment was just unacceptable.

Cashier Barbara is very rude and…

Cashier Barbara is very rude and prejudice. She looked me right in my face with misery. She threw my bananas around and I had to tell her. Friday, Sept. 2nd today.
Your employees on the floor are rude as well, they cross customers and cut them off without saying sorry, no manners. I go there weekly and same manner constantly, rude very rude employees. Management really needs to do some training with employees to show good customer service.

Besides today going to Starbucks…

Besides today going to Starbucks Longo‘s only because the matcha that I want is not at the other location but this will be the first and last time I’ll ever step in that damn store the manager he’s rude and disgusting and he belittled me and my husband in front of the cashier and customers making feel me feel like I’m at criminal just because I want two bananas I have spent so much money in that damn store he’s not even worthy of my money I’m so embarrassed and ashamed ever stepping foot in that store I will never do it again and besides that I overheard when we were leaving him telling his employees about us I can’t stand not respect people like that what kind of person is he to do this

It is just disgusting

I had the worst experience in the Applewood Longos.
I bought some stuff and a small cake. It was Saturday. One of the cashiers refused to serve me, even the cash was opened and yelled at me. The other cashier started to scan my stuff and with the force put all into the plastic bag. All including the cake. It happened that cake box opened and the cake fell into the plastic bag. She took it from the bag and started to place it into the box!!! It is not only disgusting, it is dangerous. I had some stuff from the shelves, her hands are not so clean, etc. On my what she is doing she started to yelled at me very loud.
I asked for the store manager, he came and also in very rude manner told me, after I explained him the situation, that all do mistake.

RUDEST customer service then anywhere ever!

I have just experienced the RUDEST person ever in my 50 years, at Longo’s Online orders help line. She would not give me her name and instead hung up on me! SHOULD NOT BEING WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!
And NOW, so far at a FIFTY THREE minute wait, I am STILL currently on hold, with customer care. First was told to expect a 9 minute wait time. 21 minutes later, a message “you are 3rd in Que, and your wait time is 7 mins.” 12 minutes later “you are 2nd in que, 9 minute wait time.” 10 minutes later still 2nd in Que and still 10 minute wait. 10 minutes after that still 2nd In que now with an 11 minute wait. Now at 59 minutes and still waiting for (ironically named) Customer Care .... where they clearly do not care.

Floral manager is RUDE!

Went into your Burloak location and into floral, only to see the manager Rosa ordering employees around, and speaking demeaningly to them. As someone who has worked retail, it is unacceptable for a manager to speak to their staff that way. I'd be massively wary of any of the management as they are rude to staff and customers!

Terrible store Baked Bread

Asked server if bread was from today and she said yes. Drove all the way home, cut the bun and found that the bun was hard at the tips and not fresh at all. I have purchased the buns made in the store before and this was the first time that the buns were not fresh. Returned and the person in customer service said the buns were made today but a bit rude. Received refund and I went to st Philips bakery instead. I think that the people that have worked there for many years should get a change in career as they do appear to be fed up with customers.

Poor quality, disgusting product.

I am a experienced cook, but sometimes look for a item I can cook for just myself. Recently purchased the prepared cooked turkey breast In gravy. From the minute it came out of cooking pan, having followed the directions, the aroma was disgusting, turkey looked fake, it all went into disposal. I now have a diffuser on to combat the terrible smell. Thank goodness for mashed potatoes and squash.

Customer care is declining rapidly

I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years.It is time to move on though.I have emailed,called and posted reviews and yet ,I am still awaiting follow up.I purchased items to be delivered ,which never arrived.I was charged for the items(approx $50) and no credit has been applied.I purchased a delivery membership in April 2021 ,for a year,yet they charged me $9.99 for delivery...Bring back the Longo family,as Sobeys is going to destroy this store...

Had a great experience with an employee…

Had a great experience with an employee at Longos on Hurontario Street in Brampton today. Brandon went above and beyond to assist me in finding items I was looking for. He noticed my cart was broken and went and got me a new one. Very quick to notice small issues and resolve them. He was very polite and has great people skills. Thank you Brandon.

Be careful of prepared foods.

I purchased prepared food at the Longos located on 1100 King street. The food looked very appetizing, so I bought a significant amount for my entire family. Two of my family members including myself got sick shortly after ingesting the food, and I could not go to work the day after. The customer service was also very poor, and there were not enough Cashiers.

I have a question about buyer

I have a question about buyer. I was at Longo's at Rathburn and purchased Cracker Barrel combo. I noticed there were a lot more on shelves than usual. When I opened one the cheese was green. Checked expiry date and sure enough - expired. Did your buyer think they were getting a deal? Also, around Xmas last year didn't see Campari tomatoes which were replaced with another brand. I checked every single box and found a rotten one in each and every one. I think your Buyer thinks they are saving $'s for the store when they see deals. Deals are there for a reason and in the end no deal at all. Gives the store a bad rap. Someone needs to follow up on buying for the store.

A very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience today because I checked the electronic bill at home. Among other things, I bought 2kg of peaches, advertised at $1,99/lb and I was charged $3.99/lb. I also bought 2 kg.
of red and yellow field peppers advertised at $1.99/lb and I was charged $3.99/lb. I also bought 1.3kg of red sweet peppers advertised at $1.99/lb and I was charged $2.99/lb. I was overcharged close to $20 for the above listed items. I went back to the store and I got a refund, but it was an experience close to having all your wisdom teeth extracted at once without anestethic.
My advise: check your bill in the store.

The Worst Place to by Peaches is Longos

Extreme disappointment in our purchase at your Milton store today.
Longos in Milton have a reputation of high prices but top quality produce.
Your facebook ad for Niagara Peaches was timely for us as we were going to drive to Niagara and buy some fresh. So we thought lets stay home and shop Longos for peaches.
So we bought a package of Kooornneef Product peaches. This is sold in single use polluting plastic packaging with a cardboard wrap so that the product can not be checked before purchasing. When we opened the product at home and found 2 peaches with black sides and all of the peaches as hard as a rock. Why do you try so hard to deceive the public. I could have spent an hour and got fresh Ontario peaches instead I bought garbage from your store.
We have Walmart, Loblaws, Metro, Food Basics all within walking distance but instead we drove to your remote location in the north east corner of town.
Time to give up on Longos because they mislead you with pictures and take your hard earned money for their product that goes straight into the garbage.

You have an incapable IT team

Everytime I shop at Longo's, the app for me to collect points makes me extremely embarrassed because if I haven't been there for a short while it erases all my logon credentials, then asked me to reset password. If you are the management & reading this, please read users' comments in Google Play and see why the app is rated so low. RBC does not do that, TD Bank does not do that, Bank of China does not do that, even Amazon, eBay do not do that, who do you think you are? Please hire someone with an average or higher IQ in your IT team especially the one who heads this app. I will stop shopping at Longo's starting today & switch to Sobeys. That app really makes me sick.

Been shopping at Longo's (Rathburn) for…

Been shopping at Longo's (Rathburn) for the past 16 years. Spend on average $200.00 per week. Yesterday at about 8:00PM when I visited the store with my wife was baffled with what I witnessed. Only one employee was wearing gloves. His name is Mark. The girl that checked us out was also wearing gloves as oppose to a lead hand right beside.
Prior to leaving the store, I asked a gentleman standing by the door (very unfriendly) why wasn't everyone wearing gloves?
His reply; "Its not a Longo's Policy".
Thank you very much but I'll never shop at Long's again.
