I do not believe that the frozen ravioli has actual ricotta cheese or any true cheese. I was shocked and disgusted by the taste of this product. Longos? How? Never again. Will always go with Ontar... See more

AtomyBenefits Home Essentials

I prefer to buy all my home essential things online from atomybenefits, they’re all natural no chemicals and much better very
high quality effective products, cheaper and they offer FREE shipping.

Plus once you start buying from them you can make money by referring
others to them, just search Google “AtomyBenefits” and click on the
first site that comes up, you gotta try their dish detergent which you
can use to wash fruits and veggies, also their natural toothpaste,
natural laundry detergent, etc. trust me you will never regret it.

Felt really disrespected at Richmond Hill Longo . The staff was so unprofessional and bad manner . They take their own anger out of customer when the help is needed. That was the worst experience I had out of the all Longos. I believe the management need to monitor the behaviour of the staff , as I believe if you hate your job that much just quit it . Don't ruin the name of Longo ,

I was at Longo’s at Rossland Ajax Dec

I was at Longo’s at Rossland Ajax Dec. 8 at 3:15 pm and it made my day the worst day. I was hungry so I went to buy a sandwich. This guy I believe works behind the counter saw me and didn’t even bother to ask if I need help. He was just too busy preparing his pizza. I stood there for over 5 mins and even if he saw me still standing there did not stop what he was doing to ask whether I need help. I raised my hand and looked at him when he took of his gloves but instead of asking me, he continued to do which is obviously more important than the customer’s need. So Longo’s Rossland you suck...

I was at the Longos Ajax store and it…

I was at the Longos Ajax store and it was such a friendly, well laid out and stocked store. The staff was so friendly and helpful from Ram who greeted me at the front door, to the young man in produce who went out of his way to find a particular item I wanted. The floor staff unloading the pallet of paper towels who helped me with the pricing details and finally Taishia the cashier who was so friendly and competent and packed the bags so carefully and using as few bags as she could without squishing a thing. The store seems very well run and the produce manager Mike who I talked to was very complimentary about his staff and store. Thank you Longos and I will definitely shop here again or if I need to try out Grocery Gateway. Jackie

I'm writing this for Longos HEAD…

I'm writing this for Longos HEAD OFFICE, not retail staff as they get 5 STARS.

The Holiday 2020 of Longos "Experience" magazine (pg. 66) features a "Mini Serrano Ham with Wooden Holder and Knife". It's pictured with a wooden gift box, whose label matches the product. It even states, under the price, "ribbon not included". Ditto for the website.

FIVE stores, multiple calls later, no one knows about the box. Not one of the people I spoke with was familiar with the product, let alone that it came w/a wooden (gift) box. I was told to wait 2-3 days, but as it's intended as a Christmas gift that was specifically requested by my friend's son, time is of the essence as the product (not the box) is flying off the shelves.

Called Longos HQ but couldn't get past the phone tree as one must have an extension to get through. Interestingly, I reflected my experience on Google, and got a response within the hour.

As I was already getting help from "Ettore" from Liberty Village, I didn't bother with HQ. Ettore went above & beyond to help me. He not only located one of the FEW boxes floating around, but also managed to get the box sent to the store/location of my choice. Thank you Tanya Moodie and, of course, Ettore :)

PLS note that every person I spoke with at retail locations, whether in person or on the phone, was incredibly helpful and simply lovely to deal with in my search!

Signed,
Grateful customer

Longos panettone

Has Longos changed their supplier for their panettone? I just bought it at the Ancaster store. I'm positive it is not the same. I have bought it since they started selling it. I wont buy it again. It has no flavor.

Falsely accused of shoplifting!!!!! Confronted by 8 people. They gang up on me and blocked my exit. Upset me terribly and then told me to calm down. TERRIBLE PEOPLE!!!!!!!! Told them to charge me but they would not. I finally showed them I had nothing. They did not even apologize and told me not to come back. I DID NOTHING WRONG!!!!! THEY CREATE A CONFRONTATIONAL FALSE ACCUSATION AND THEN I AM THE BAD GUY?

Longo's Woodbine/7

Longo's Woodbine/7
A friend of mine was grocery shopping for me. She took some photos of the fruits at this Woodbine/7 location to show me what I could get from there. A young male employee told her that she was not allowed to take pictures. My friend asked where was the sign that says she could not. The answer was: there is a new policy coming...we are going to put signs up…the people up there behind the window that's the head office people, they are watching you and they can come down and escort you out.

We try to help each other, especially during this horrible time of Covid. Everybody takes pictures to make sure that we're buying the right things for the people we are trying to help. If this is not already a policy, why even bother your customers? Or has it got to do with racism? Because my friend is a small built Asian woman.

Longo does have good quality products. Reasonable pricing? Not exactly. With this kind of customer service, you're going to lose a lot of
Customers.

Longo's sucks

Longo's sucks! I'm sorry to have supported them for as long as I had, and by support I mean shopping there at least 3x a week for all my groceries. Their mask policy doesn't follow the Human Rights Code of Ontario and their employees, particularly Darko at the Oakville location on Cornwall act like uneducated goons, aggressively enforcing their unlawful policy while loudly stating that customers' are LYING about having a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, and physically charging at them and getting in their face (At much less than a 6 feet distance, not even adhering to their own rules while acting like a schoolyard bully) when they are calmly questioned on their nasty approach. No calls returned from Head Office on these matters either. Longo's doesn't care and has forgotten about who pays their employee salaries and keeps them in business. Way too many other awesome grocery stores - Fortino's and Sobey's for example - that haven't forgotten about basic respect, are appreciative of their customers, are informed on the LAW and how it affects their business and approach, and don't allow their employees to exhibit overtly emotional, alarmist and unwarranted fear-based behavior and inflict it on the customers who simply want to support their business and jobs, all while perfectly HEALTHY. Grocery store workers are NOT infectious disease experts! You are hired to serve your customers and to do it well. Never, ever again Longo's! I do hope the culture behind closed doors at Longo's changes for their sake as It is very apparent after seeing other reviews I am not the first person to feel this way about the employees and their awful behavior.

Longos Aurora: Totally Disrespected!

I will not return to Longos Aurora as long as they continue to disrespect customers with their military commando style tactics in enforcing COVID restrictions. This afternoon, I was treated like a criminal for not noticing the there was a line-up system. There were no signs or indicators and the store was not busy. I was then “punished” when the store commando allowed customers who had not been in line when I lined up and did not allow me access to the express lane, despite the fact that I had very few items. I was unable then to wait for the line I was assigned to to open up so I left the store. A completely dehumanizing experience!

Store Manager should learn how to talk to Customers

Longo Corporate should have a talk with your Store Manager at York Mills location, he is very rude, should learn how to talk to Customers.
I guess he had limited staff on the 28th of August,2020 and had to be at the Register to direct Customer.
I have stop Shopping at Longo's, Metro is equally good and the prices are lower and same distance from home.

Yesterday August 10 was a fiasco at the logos Bathurst store. Your credit debit machines were not working. Long time wait and then was asked to write my MasterCard number on a sheet of paper that ends up who knows where. This is not protecting your customers. Has never happened anywhere else. Your supervisor and cashier Megan were distant and offered no apology fir this disaster. I am a long time customer but will consider going elsewhere. Really disappointed in your service.

Bravo for the Mask wearing policy!

First store that makes everyone wears masks. This is the first supermarket that made me feel safe in months. Bravo to their Corporate office for doing what the other stores won't. Those saying mask wearing interferes with their freedom (I remember when people said wearing seat belts or motorcycle helmets violated their rights, too) also don't care that they endanger me and others when they don't wear them. Shame on people for criticizing Longo's for implementing this safe practice. Yes go shop somewhere else. Longo's now has new customers instead.

Demanding that everyone shopping in…

Demanding that everyone shopping in their stores must wear a mask is a questionable policy especially since the masks that they provide are cheap non N95 masks that would be next to useless.

Now Longos has decided that cash is contaminated with virus and germs so they will only take credit/debit cards. Now this is really a provocative measure when Canadian currency is no longer accepted.

The bottom line is that the management of Longos is on some sort of power trip and I suggest everyone take their business elsewhere. The monkeys are running zoo so let them run their tight little empire and we will take our viruses elsewhere.

Unfriendly and expensive

Unfriendly, ignorant, expensive experience with limited choices. On top of it, very unpleasant experience related to mask wearing policy. Will not shop there again any time soon.
