i just rent a decent knife just for a 25 dollars a month very nice thanks lootbear :)
My experience with lootbear and why its bad
My experience with lootbear and why its not a good option
So ive been renting out some skins from low to high tier (50$-1100$) on lootbear and it did work most of the time when the site was not lagging or giving me timeout errors and i did get a payout to paypal in total about 200$ over the last 5 months, BUT they do NOT give you the 3% per month form the rent out price but from the avg 60 day buy price and that usually is 30+% lower then the rent price on lootbear.
the calculation for the profit per day is just: "item 60day avg sell price on lootbear" * 3% / 30 days
thats how they just cashgrab more money of the skin providers in addition to the 4$ profit per month they atleast get from the subscribers of lootbear.
i contacted lootbear support about this and they said the payout involves many factors and is calculated on an individual item basis, depending on various factors such as market value, popularity, and demand on-site.
but in reallity its just the simple formula as mentioned above and has nothing to do with popularity or on site demand.
Also the support is answering very very slowly so if you have any urgent problem about rented out skins or renting skins or something else it usually takes them 1-2 business days to answer.
And now the second point why you should not use lootbear at all even as renter is because as far as i saw in the terms of service its against the steam ToS to try and get a monetary profit of your skins in one way or another, so as far as i understand correctly, if valve wants to they could just ban my account, lootbear bot accounts and the one who rented out the item because all accounts involved were trying to get some form of profit.
Stated in section 2.G of the steam tos

Support very slow,i contact support to get some help i can't reach them just in some days, forgot a password and lootbear website can't send a message to reset my password, because actually ,reseting your password through the site doesn't work, any mail to reset my password,2nd thing is to verify my adress with a paycheck, the problem is that i live in france and all my documents are in french but what to do,because they decline my documents everytime and these are the good ones and i can't pay a translator 60 or 50 euros just to translate a document .
