A company that cheats its customers

Hi!
Below I present to your attention my experience of ordering in this online store.
On 12/16/2024 I placed and paid for an order on this site: Garmin Fenix ​​8, 47 mm Amoled. The payment was charged to my card, and this store began sending me emails confirming and preparing my order, and they also sent me an invoice for the purchase.
And on December 17, 2024 they sent me a letter with the following content:
«Unfortunately we cannot ship to your country due to the current political situation.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
We would like to know if you have an alternative address where you can ship the parcel to.
Please let us know.»

OK. I wrote to them the address of my friend in another country, and this is what they answered me:
"Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately changing the country to an EU one means that the VAT amount of the destination country must be paid and therefore we are obliged to cancel this order.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
We kindly ask you to replace the order with the correct destination country so that the payment of the VAT can be done.
Thank you for your understanding."

Summary.
This is just some kind of vicious circle. This company looks like a scam!
They post false information about delivery on the website, and then start "leading the customer by the nose".
I wrote to them to immediately return the paid amount and that do not want to deal with this company anymore.
And I will also tell all my friends and acquaintances about this negative experience!
Warn you to contact them if you do not want to waste your time and freeze the money on your card!

I want as many people as possible to know this.
And really hope that my review will be read by the management of this company and draw the right conclusions.

Unfortunately the couriers we have a contract with have suspended delivery to Belarus until further notice. We are very sorry about this, however this is something out of our company's control.
We therefore have contacted you asking if you have a different address where we can ship your parcel. You indicated us a country in the EU, however when an order is delivered in a EU country it is necessary to pay the VAT amount of the country of destination.
Since Belarus is not part of the EU and therefore your order has been registered without VAT, we informed you that your order will be refunded fully so that you can place a new one with the European address. Doing so the information would be up to date and the price adjusted automatically.

Fast delivery and very good prices on original items

My third order from Lordgun. Great prices and all quality items. Almost all original retail packaging, with one component OEM packaging (which was clear from the description and actually was supplied with more parts than the retail version).

Amazingly fast delivery to the UK when paying the £1.15 more than the recommended option, ordered in the morning and arrived the next morning. The standard postal delivery took a few days but was tracked all the way. The packaging is with robust boxing, IMV probably one of the best of the many bike suppliers I’ve used.

Excellent prices as well, even on hard to get hold of items, hence the repeat orders.

Recommended.

--I bought 2 Cannondale topstone 3 from Lordgun each 1000 Euro

2 Order placed 19/11/2024, standard DPD shipment 3 to 6 days. Tracking the shipment, 1st status is still in DPD Deutschland GMBH 2nd is being returned when it gets to Denmark because it has exceeded terms and conditions, but it has been going into a loop between DPD Deutschland and Denmark for 10 days now, going back and fort. Online customer service is unhelpful, and Email customer service is super slow. I feel like this is a severe problem, and they don't spend the best effort to fix it.

--The problem was between them and the shipping company, so holding a customer's money pending even though the customer did not make any mistakes is unfair.

What a scam!

I must say, my experience with LordGun has been incredibly disappointing. First of all, it's beyond frustrating that I ended up purchasing the wrong size, and nowhere during the process was I clearly informed that I’d have to cover the return shipping costs. The cherry on top? The return shipping prices are absolutely outrageous. To make matters worse, customer service has been anything but helpful. It feels like they're doing the bare minimum and, frankly, seem indifferent to resolving the issue.

All in all, this feels like an enormous scam. Definitely won’t be shopping here again.

Lordgun are an absolutely terrible…

Lordgun are an absolutely terrible company to deal with! I paid extra for an express delivery which did not turn up. This was for a critical part which I needed within a set time frame and when that passed I said I needed them to cancel the order. They refused. So I asked at the very least for them to refund the premium I paid for express delivery and they refused once again. The clearly have absolutely zero regard for their clients, they just want to gobble up every bit of money they can get their hands on. The kept telling me “it is not possible” to refund this. Absolute rubbish, everyone can refund money if they want to, they just didn’t want to.
Shocking company, shocking service. Avoid at all costs and don’t be tempted by the reduced prices. They are not to be relied upon or trusted

Your parcel has been delivered with 3 working days of delay.
As a sign of apology, we have offered you a partial refund of the shipping fees, however this proposal has been rejected by the client.

Park Tool CM-25 Professional Chain Scrubber

In my homeland Denmark, this product costs 170EUR. Seeing it at exceptionally low priced 100EUR at this excellent Italian dealer, I placed my order Mon Aug 5 and had the product delivered in perfect condition on Wed Aug 7 without having ordered express delivery - wow, was that fast! Due to product price, I even obtained free shipping. So, my experience using this company was excellent and I will definitely look in their direction when placing future orders.

Be careful to not to select their English branch, unless you live in UK, else you may experience delays and trouble with taxes and customs.

There are no such "Hidden charges" on our website.
UK is no more part of the EU since Brexit, and therefore parcels destined to your country are stopped in customs for inspection and custom charges are applied.
Since these are something collected from the customs and not by Lordgun, unfortunately it is not possible to advise in the cart how much will be charged on your purchase.
However, we do advise on our website before checkout that shipment is from EU and for UK customers the following applies:

“The prices shown include UK VAT. The shipment is sent from the EU and, in accordance with UK rules after Brexit, VAT will be collected at checkout only for orders under 135 GBP (total value of products, excluding shipping and other costs). Orders over 135 GBP may be subject to customs control at your destination with VAT and possible handling charges.”

This message cannot be missed because, in order to proceed to the checkout, the customer must click on the acknowledgement button.

Long delivery and hidden costs

I ordered some racks and panniers from Lord Gun on the 29th March. The items are just about to be delivered on the 25th April 2024, after i have received custom charges of nearly £75 for goods worth just over £200. There was no details of these charges wh i ordered the items, i only had delivery charges of £13.05. I will be going to the small claims court to recover these charges. I will not be using Lord Gun again.

However, you have refused to continue with the warranty process and therefore we have not been able to help you any further. Unfortunately, we do not have control over warranty process.

Terrible customer service and defective item

UPDATE: Lordgun's agent explicitly said i could try the shoes to find out if its comfortable and not merely "to try it on" as what Lordgun would like to make it appear below. Cycling shoes has to be used for its intended purpose to find out whether its comfortable. If their agent meant that im only allowed to fit it, she could have easily said this.

Also, Lordgun is trying to misquote me - i did not use the shoe "for training." I made it clear to them that the BOA string snapped off "after less than 5 pedal revolutions" which hardly qualifies as training as Lordgun would like to make it appear.

At any rate, TO ALL CUSTOMERS, be careful and think twice before buying from this shop and be guided by all negative reviews especially from customers who complained against Lordgun's unfair return procedures. There is another set of trustpilot reviews where Lordgun is rated 3.1 and contains similar negative customer feedbacks.

I ordered a Sworks Torch cycling shoes which costs 389 Euro. Prior to receiving the shoes, I contacted their customer service agent and asked if i could try the shoe once i receive it to find out if the shoes is comfortable or not (based on my footbed shape, whether there will be hotspots etc.). The agent said that i could try the shoes and return it to Lordgun in case i find it uncomfortable. Upon receiving the shoe, i noticed that the BOA string seemed off but i nevertheless tried it in my indoor trainer. When i fitted the shoe, the arch (varus wedge) on the shoe seemed not suited for my foot. After less than 5 pedal revolutions, the string snapped off and was broken. I immediately contacted Lordgun for the return (and refund) and told them that the shoes appears to be uncomfortable and the shoes they had sent me was clearly defective. I explained that a 389 euro shoe which was broken after just 5 pedal revolutions is clearly defective. I also sent them a screenshot of my chat with their own agent.

Lordgun replied and denied my request for return/refund. They insisted on pursuing a warranty claim to the manufacturer instead of honoring my request for return/refund. This despite the fact that i cited to them their own terms and conditions which states that a faulty item upon receiving it can be returned.

Beware of this shop and their terrible customer service! I posted my negative experience with them on the review tab in their website but it later on disappeared, seemingly deleted to hide negative customer feedback. Really dodgy online shop

We confirm that you contacted us via chat asking if you could try on the shoes. Of course, in order to understand the fit the customer has to try on the shoes, that is why our agent informed you that you can try them on. However, you informed us that you used the shoes for training and that the BOA string broke after cycling.
If the shoes were used and show a defect, you cannot return them. We therefore suggested that we file a warranty claim with the supplier, which is the procedure we undergo for defective products.
Your comments on our website have not been deleted, however you have entered your feedback in the 'product review' section, which is different from the service feedback page.
