Very disappointing experience.
Before ordering, there was absolutely no clear information that the products were being shipped from China. The website gives the impression of a UK-based store with delivery advertised as 3–5 working days.
I have now been waiting over 14 days for my order and still have not received it.

I contacted customer service multiple times asking for updates and requesting a refund, but every time I received the same generic response claiming the parcel is “in transit.” They also provided several tracking numbers, but none of them ever worked correctly or showed proper updates.
The lack of transparency about international shipping from China raises serious concerns about the quality and origin of the products being sold.
Despite multiple requests, the company refuses to issue a refund and continues delaying the situation by repeating the same responses about shipping delays and courier issues.
From a customer perspective, this experience feels extremely misleading and unprofessional.
I would strongly advise other buyers to be careful before ordering.

I would give a zero but there isn’t one. DO. NOT BUY FROM THEM. It is a scam and terrible quality and they won’t refund you.

I am currently battling with this company. Unfortunately my daughter ordered 3 dresses from their ‘sale’. I did a quick check when Shes ordered them and same a raft of hideous reviews!
I immediately tried to cancel the order and was told it wouldn’t be cancelled after an hour of being placed. I explained my concerns about the reviews, faulty goods, scam allegations and was told to await the delivery before commending return process.
Good arrived two weeks later and they are shocking! Here are just a few issues:
Dress length difference.
Zips faulty
Dress strap length differences
Dress strap width differences.
Loops for back straps set at different heights
Top layer of dress stitched to lining all puckered.
Dress hem cut at differing lengths.
There are so many other issues. Needless to say they are all such terrible quality, look awful and can be worn as they don’t sit right due to all the variances in measurements.

Contact made to request refund and all being declined - they claim it all within their policy and that basically they don’t see the issues as faulty.

They refuse refund and won’t provide an address to return the clothing. In summary they claim their small print gets them out of being able to sell shocking bad items and claim them as couture. So they advertise these beautiful dresses but in the small print it basically says they can be faulty, size discrepancies, stitching issues etc etc.

I don’t know if anyone has encountered them.. they have agreed to provide a store credit but there is no way I’m wc working that. The products are awful. Cheap material, really badly put together.

Please do not order from this company. You will receive utter rubbish and lose your money.
I know I’m in for a battle with them, the bank and possible court but I intend to make it my business to ensure I spread the word on social media/

They claim to be a uk company and yet I have requested their uk return address and they don’t have one.

Awful Company, ordered a dress and payed £50 for it finally showed up after three weeks with limited tracking information and multiple emails sent and it’s the complete wrong colour, supposed to me a light lemon dress and dress has came bright yellow. Surprisingly they only offer store credit as they know the dresses they send out are nothing like the photos, complete waste of money, won’t ever buy from again and do not recommend.

I ordered a dress for a wedding and it arrived 4 weeks after order, not in time for the event. I was told I could request a refund once it arrives from China. On request for a refund I was told no refund is possible despite the website saying eligible for refund after 28 days. Now they say as it was on “sale” for more than 40% discount no refund is possible due to their policy, however every item on the website is discounted and therefore they never will refund. The quality of the product is cheap and does not look like the picture despite the high prices.

Complete scam. Quality of dresses ordered very cheap and ill fitting. They promise free returns on their website - but not if the dress is more than 40% ‘reduced’ - spoiler alert - they all are. If they do agree to anything it’s basically a store credit- which no-one would want to use because of the garbage product. If you do get an agreement to return there is a 25% ‘handling fee’ plus you have to pay for the return postage to China which is at least £30 - which wipes out the return amount you might have been lucky enough to receive - oh and that’s also conditional upon the package being inspected once received - what are the chances that it would have been deemed damaged or something like that? You’re as good as throwing money down the drain- give it to a charity instead!

Avoid this company at all cost. I wish I had researched before ordering. The company is horrendous and I can't believe any of the good reviews are real.

The company was advertised on Facebook and I ordered 6 dresses for an event. The dresses looked similar to other brands but at a better price. The order took over two weeks to arrive and when they arrived they are of extremely poor quality. I have had better dresses on websites such as SHEIN. When I have tried to return these, I was offered store credit and would not be given an address until I agreed to their terms of no refund (which I would not do). Eventually, I received the address and was told I need to pay for returns (which I am happy to do as have done with other websites) but the address was in China. The shipping and tracking would have cost me over £40 to return and it is common to not be able to track packages back here so they claim they have not recieved it. Many of the dresses are not even the same style as shown online and the fabric is all see through. I am now having to go through my bank to get my money back and would hate for someone else to fall victim to this scam of a company.

If I could give less that one star i would. Do not waste your money buying from this company. The dresses are nowhere near the pictures and you will not get a refund.

I would give them no stars if I could. Company uses false marketing to claim they are a UK business and offer a 30 day money back guarantee, but they do not accept returns and if they do, you have ship the dresses to China. The actual dresses are poor quality, if you decide to purchase make sure you read all the small print that includes what they claim are permissible imperfections (like raw hems). I would also recommend that you reverse image search the dresses you are looking at as it seems they operate over multiple websites. We have reported them to Trading Standards who advise us to contact Action Freud. Please beware as I would hate other customers to go through this.

Do not buy from this company! Absolutely scam! I purchased 3 dresses from this site in a 'buy 2 get one free' offer. The total came to over £120. The order arrived after 3 weeks (a lot longer than the website says). The website looks expensive and the pictures are beautiful but the items that arrived are not the same dresses. Not only is the quality poor but they don't fit or measure up as described on the website. I've followed instructions to return items but they do not give returns. Especially when dresses are purchased in a 'Sale'. Absolutely terrible and not clear when you buy. I wish I'd checked TRUST Pilot first- lesson learned. I am planning to fight for a refund under UK consumer rights because the items advertised are not the items sent- they are clearly using other companies images. This company in particular was advertised all over my Facebook and Instagram feed- they shouldn't be allowed to advise scams like this. Awful!

My experience with LouLou Couture was extremely disappointing. The dresses I received looked nothing like the photos on the website. The quality was very poor, the material was extremely thin and see-through, and the items arrived without tags. Came 3 weeks later from China.

I contacted the company on the same day the order was delivered to request a refund, but instead of resolving the issue properly, I was met with endless back and forth emails, repeated store credit offers, and unreasonable return terms. They just want you to get tired and give up basically.

In the end, I had to open a dispute with my bank in order to get my money back.

Stay away from them as all their reviews on the website are fake.

They are charging £100+ for dresses with they put in sale so you think it's a good offer, then refuse refund due to sale.
However my problem is the poor quality, the clothes are terrible! My dress is basically seethrough, i have found the same dress on tiktok for £20 with the same quality. They should advertise no refunds but they don't so they can trick customers.
I'm now £120 down and so are others.

I ordered 3 dresses as options for a wedding. Not only did my order take lot longer than there advised delivery time but when I receive my dresses, they looked absolutely nothing like the photos they were advertising on the website. When I reached out to customer services requesting to return my items, they said that they cannot return them as it’s part of their clearance. They also had the audacity to say that dresses can vary due to the manufacturer. The dresses I received was something that could’ve been ordered off SHEIN and was certainly not up to standard of what they were advertising on their website.
This is not a website I will be ordering from again. Customer service was terrible

Only got 1 star as can’t do less. Appalling company, late delivery, not as advertised. I ordered a dress stating rhinestones it came with sequins. They claim that’s photography and lighting, refusing to refund. It’s not the same dress has a split, their picture didn’t. Left with a very upset 15 year old refusing to go to prom now as no other dress will do!

Absolute nightmare!! First of all delivery took 6 weeks, when arrived the quality of the material is very poor, flee market does better. When asked for details to return been told they don't accept returns, joke. £200 down the drain.

Items arrived looking different to the images and much poorer quality. When I contacted them for return, they gave poor excuses like lighting and fabric draping may look different in professional photos. Failed to address my concerns that the dresses were not as advertised. Refused to allow a refund and therefore I will have to claim back from credit card company instead. I would 100% avoid them.

Do not purchase from this company - dress was awful quality and refused a refund because it was a 'sale' item - all the dresses on the website are marked as reduced which means they do not have to give refunds. Terrible

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Dress I ordered and dress that came are nothing alike. Really bad quality, cheap material and took ages to arrive. Then to find out I can’t return for a refund due to it having more than 40% reduction price on it. It was still £59 & every dress on the website is discounted, clearly a tactic of there’s so they don’t have to give refunds. Avooooooid !!

Dreadful company. Found multiple of reasons to not refund despite admitting product was faulty. Would never buy from them again. Awful customer experience.

I had a very disappointing experience with LouLou Couture. The dresses I received were poor quality, and the material and colour looked completely different from what was shown on the website. They explained this by saying it was due to studio lighting, but the difference was far too significant to justify that excuse.

When I tried to return the dresses, I was told I couldn’t because they were supposedly part of a sale. However, nowhere on the website where I purchased them did it say “sale” — it only mentioned a promotion. This felt very misleading.

After weeks of going back and forth trying to resolve the issue, they refused a refund and only offered store credit, which still leaves me out of pocket and in the same position of having to buy another dress from a company I no longer trust.

I would never shop here again and would not recommend them based on my experience.
