Would give zero stars if I could. Do not order from this company. Dresses are not as appear on the pictures. One didn’t even have straps. Then they advertise try for free for 30 days and try to tell you it will cost over £50 to return. Paid on my credit card for “security” but because I have the items they can’t issue a charge back. Avoid at all costs

My daughter ordered a dress from Loulou couture and when it finally arrived not only did it look nothing like what was advertised but had green mound marks on the front of the dress.
After emailing the company my daughter was told she could not have a refund as the dress was discounted and no refunds allowed on discounted clothes. They advised a refund could be given if the dress had an imperfection but the stains do not class as an imperfection. She was offered 50% off her next purchase which she will not be taking them up on.

I wish I checked the reviews before ordering a £60 pounds dress. They lie and deliver dresses from China that look nothing like the ones in the pictures. Only offered a 20% refund suggesting to "restyle it or give it to a friend". Like bruh...
I never leave reviews because I can't be bothered but this shop is "truly special"!

I spent over £200 on three birthday dress options from this company, but unfortunately all of them arrived significantly oversized and didn’t fit as expected. As a result, I had no choice but to return them.

However, the return process has been extremely disappointing. After initiating the return, I was told that because the items were purchased at a discount, I’m not eligible for a refund—despite the website stating that returns would at least qualify for store credit. This feels very misleading, especially since everything on the site appears to be permanently discounted.

On top of that, customers are expected to cover the cost of returning items to the USA, which is very expensive and further reduces any potential refund or credit.

Overall, this experience has been frustrating and feels unfair. I would advise others to be cautious before purchasing.

Had many incidents with this company. Clothes come with a foul smell, see through and bad quality. They also send out the wrong item and claim it is the same on you ordered. Not a good company and would definitely not recommend at all!

Avoid LouLou Couture.

I spent £175 on dresses that looked beautiful online, but what arrived was completely different. The fabric was thin, cheap polyester, the fit and structure were nothing like advertised, and key features (like the side zip and structured bodice) were missing entirely.

This isn’t a case of “not suiting me” — the items are simply not as described.

When I contacted customer service, they refused a refund and hid behind a “final sale” policy due to a discount, which is misleading. A discount does not override basic consumer rights when items are misrepresented.

I’m now having to raise a chargeback through my bank to get my money back.

Really disappointing experience — poor quality and even worse customer service. I would not trust the product images or descriptions on this site.

Save your money and shop elsewhere!!

AVOID!!!! DO NOT BUY OFF THIS WEBSITE!

If I could give less than 1 star I would! The website pictures are not the same as the item that arrives. It’s poorer quality than Shein but at least you know what you’re getting with them. Loulou Couture try to give the illusion they are well made but the item that takes 10 days to arrive (clearly based in China, not the UK) and is awful. When you request a full refund they refuse and offer store credit or 25% refund!

Awful customer service. Ordered two dresses with the intention of keeping the ones I liked most and returning the less preferred. I got this on a sale. Spent £100 on two dresses. When they arrived they were awful quality and did not look like the picture as advertised! They refused refund and after LOTS of back and forth they wouldn’t budge on only giving me a partial refund. It is within a consumers rights, no matter their policy, that we should get a full refund when the product is not of good quality. Absolutely awful company and will never be using them again

I wish I'd have read the reviews before purchasing! Bought 3 dresses from here in the sale, wanted to return and was told I can't! Sent them consumer rights details as the company pose to be UK based you have the right to return but I was offered 10% and keep the items! The dreses were awful quality and I have spent £120. Why is this company still trading?
