Honestly, this is one of the best purchases ever! We have twinkling lights around the garden all on a single lead string that is discrete and absolutely beautiful! No ugly wires or clanking lights hitting the fence in the wind. A superb purchase. So happy we bought another couple of sets!

Solar Festoon Lights
I purchased the Solar Festoon lights. I'm particularly impressed with how bright the lights are for solar powered. Far more superior than solar lights I've purchased from other places in the past. These lights appear to be high quality and look great in my garden. I would definitely shop for more lights from here again. The lights were nicely packaged and the delivery was very quick. Thanks.

Hi Renato, yes the solar lights will need the sun to charge them and they do require darkness to turn on. No doubt when they do light up they are looking beautiful :) In the winter you'll have the added bonus of them turning on much earlier. Great product, good company, fantastic service
The solars lights purchased for a gift for Xmas were well received and delivery was fantastic, which is more than can be said for other online purchases. We choose Love Your Lights because of their dedication to good stylish light but prompt delivery on time was definitely the bonus. Followup has been good too. Definitely definitely would recommend buying from this family company!

Stubborn, rude customer service after failed lights
I purchased a lantern and some festoon lights as a gift. Both stopped working after about 9months but unfortunately the recipient didn't want me to worry/feel bad so she threw them out! I explained the situation to Penny/Sales who responded with no understanding, flexibility or even any acknowledgement that it was a shame that the lights stopped working after such a short time. Among other emails, here is an example of her tone:
Hi Kayla
You don't have the lights to return, so how can we offer a refund? I'm surprised that you would think we could do a refund, so I can't see why you would be disappointed. Try that with Bunnings and every other business and you'd get the same response.

I completely understand there are procedures but sometimes there are exceptions and, even if the refund was still not possible, I would have appreciated a small sign of empathy or perhaps an apology that the lights didn't live up to their name.
A real shame to see no change in response, although I wouldn't want to create more landfill if the lights were to fail again.
I love to support local businesses but won't be supporting this business again.

We have a warranty policy and to be fair to all, everyone has to follow the same procedure. Your giftee had thrown both products in the rubbish and did not even give us a chance to troubleshoot or resolve the issue at the time. I loved the online experience supported with prompt personal contact. I missed the Comments options when ordering lights as gifts for 2 people but managed instructions through email. Both friends loved the lights as gifts!!

The lights are pretty but not usable…
The lights themselves are a beautiful white and the cord is clear which make them great for crafts and decor. The battery pack is huge, using three AAA batteries, which makes it virtually impossible to use for decorating or crafts.
That was really disappointing.
